Stupid DRM... iTunes is refusing to download the HD versions of Home Alone on my computer because it thinks it doesn't meet the requirements for playing HDCP protected HD video, which it says means Windows 7 (or a Mac) is needed. I guess they're just trying to annoy as many Windows users as they think they can get away with doing, to try to make them switch and buy a Mac.
That's why I prefer to obtain movies from certain other places where they don't have any restrictions on how you can use what you download.
Oh well, at least my iPod touch is able to download the HD version, or at least the 720p version of it, and then I should be able to sync that. Anyway once you've "bought" it, you can always download the other version later. Quite a lot to download: 1.73GB (SD), 3.70GB (HD 720p), 4.69GB (HD 1080p). I'll probably never watch it either.
