It's not a trial - it's a "freemium" game. It's how things are done now - you get the game for "free" but you get constant prods and reminders about paying out for upgrades or extra coins/tokens/whatever that will help you unlock the full game.

You can still play through the game normally and unlock it all over time, but it will take much, much longer.

So it wasn't really a free gift then

You only pay extra for costumes or other characters or to unlock all levels if you really want to, but not really necessary.

I downloaded it an lost the will to live shortly afterwards.

US itunes got Kings of Leon iTunes Festival, think I'd rather have that instead.

3 more days to go and I have to wonder if they're saving the best until last?. Obviously Home Alone has been the highlight with Rayman coming in after that, but that's it out of 9 days.

I would have preferred that instead also.
