Anyone else here a fan of Los Bros Hernandez and their amazing comics? I have been a fan for many years and slightly miss Maggiie and Hopey's punk days and the tales from Palomar. Saying that, I really enjoyed the last issue.
If you haven't read this comic I highly recommend it

I used to collect it around 1985/86. It was really hard to buy back then, pre-internet/amazon/ebay! I recently got a compendium of all of the original Maggie/Hopey stories. Will do the same for the Duck Soup stories too. I especially loved the earlier stuff where they kept the sci-fi element in it. I always loved Jaimes drawing style, it gave off a 50's vibe. American Flagg was another great 'alternative' to Marvel/DC at the time.

Duck Soup is an awesome piece of work! I think Gilbert is at his best when writing about the fictional town of Palomar.
Jamie occasionally resurrects the sci-fi element to his later work which is always a pleasent surprise.
I love both their art but Jamie's art is so exquisite, every panel is a pop art treat
