Checking her album out
Rather impressed

I admire her for being a country star and openly talking about same sex relationships in one of her songs.
Glad that you like her. She has tons of unreleased stuff which is brilliant. Check out "Trailer Song" "Get Outta My Yard" and her version the song that she gave to Miranda Lambert "Mamas Broken Heart"

It's a very good album, and I think Follow Your Arrow has been well received by many country and non country fans.

There are a few people that have disapproved but thankfully they're a small minority.

The Trailer Song and Get Outta My Yard are brilliant songs

If I had to create a list of my favourite albums of all time, I think I'd put Same Trailer Different Park at number three. I haven't stopped listening to it since September.

I'm a huge fan of her song "Halfway To Memphis" from her independently released 2007 album.

I don't know whether anyone else knows it.

I don't mean to sound patronising at all, but considering her age, KM is a lyrical genius IMO.
STDP was my number one album of 2013, and definitely my most played.

Also, I've got Kacey to thank for introducing me to Miranda Lambert. It was only when I discovered she had co-wrote a song for her, that I invested in a ML album. Very good it was as well.

Nice article here about Miranda having to beg Kacey to let her release 'Mama's Broken Heart'.

I love them both. I started listening to Miranda after Kacey but I have been aware of Miranda for a lot longer. I ordered Miranda's new album the other day and it's been dispatched. I can't wait for it to arrive.

Kacey played at Glastonbury festival in the acoustic tent over the weekend. I wish that there had been some TV coverage.

Looking forward to seeing her live on Sunday night!

I'll have to look on YouTube for videos.

It was #164 on iTunes on the day of its release which isn't bad for a country song.

I hope you have a good time, it'll be great.

The Glastonbury set is on YouTube now. There are videos but there is also one without a video but it's the full shows audio.

The Trailer Song is great, I love it. Looking forward to seeing that live tonight. It's released on Amazon MP3 tomorrow.

Thanks, I'm listening to Same Trailer Different Park in one go for the first time in a while, I never get tired of it.

Did you enjoy the concert?

Kacey won best country song at the CMAs with Follow You Arrow.

She also did a performance with Loretta Lynn! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEFYCgAOe_s

Yes, I saw that performance.

Nice video interview here - discussing new album plans, touring, Katy Perry and other things.

I can't wait for new material. "Same Trailer Different Park" was a fantastic album.

STDP is still one of my favourite albums, for me it really is flawless and I can't wait for major label album number 2.

I've also been listening to Brandy Clark recently and I've just purchased her album. She's written songs with Kacey including "Mama's Broken Heart" and "Follow Your Arrow". I'll post more in the country appreciation as it's not really Kacey related but here's one of her songs.

It looks like Sam Smith wants to collaborate with Kacey, I wonder what that would sound like!

Posting from my phone so I can't post a link but she's been playing a song called "Biscuits" live a lot lately. I believe that it is the new single. I think that she wrote it quite a while ago because I know that she performed it in London when I saw her in July 2014.

Thank you for the link, I'll take a listen. I've been aware of Brandy Clark for a while but never got round to listening to her. I'll listen on Spotify and report back.

I bought Sam Smith's album for my Mum today. She mentioned it yesterday so I bought it with the intention of giving it to her on Mother's Day but she was about to download it on iTunes when I got home. I tried to get around telling her not to download it without saying that I'd already bought it, but failed miserably. She's got her present early, as a result!

I'm not that big on Sam Smith but I don't mind the odd song.

Just read on wiki that her new album, titled "Pageant Material" is set to be released on the 9th of June in the US! I'm guessing that means an 8th June release here?

I can't wait!

Thanks for the track list! I only knew Cup Of Tea and Biscuits but I've just listened to High Time and now I have it on repeat, it's a great song!

"Good Ol' Boys Club" sounds like it will be interesting!

She played Cup Of Tea in London when I saw her in 2014. I knew that the song title looked familiar.

I wonder how much of the album is new stuff and how much of it is stuff that she had left over from the "Same Trailer..." writing sessions.

She's been playing "High Time", "Cup Of Tea" and "Biscuits" live for at least a year.

I've literally just seen this on Facebook. My "stop spending all of my money on cds" rule will be out by the time this is released. I still love "Same Trailer...".
