Hdr 1000s genre search
Hi lads
On my foxsat hdr i used to search for movies by genre search and got movie results for all channels with up to 200 results, at xmas for example But on my 1000s it only lists the movies on the dedicated movie channels So are you back to searching the epg for every other channel to pick out the movies rather than the box doing it for you. Or am i missing something. If not it Seems like a backward step |

The genre search will be down to the data provided by the broadcasters in the epg or down to Freesat including this data in the G2 epg stream. No idea which option is the problem. Suggest you contact Freesat and ask which.

Indeed, I used to use that option to find films to record.
No option either to just list HD channels in the TV Guide is another negative especially with the new BBC HD channels being all over the place (147,148,212,607&608) Also of course in Recordings / Series, it lists them in episode number order and has no concept of the season number and thus if episodes from more than one season are recorded you end up with a very confusing list when you come to watch them in the correct order. A sort by recorded date option would typically fix this issue... Automan. |

Freesat state a lot of things that are going to happen, but then take months to actually change anything. Look at the remote record app, they stated some months ago it was close to launch, and to date, nothing.

![]() You won't see it until the software for the box is ready and has been tested, which currently Humax are making sure that a couple of issues present in version .59 don't recur in the next software update which is due anytime soon. As soon as that's ready to go, then then app will be not far behind it. |
