Don't get me wrong, it was kind of you to alert us to and post them, but it wasn't easy to work out how a particular person did on a daily basis compared to their campmates. Ahh, at first glance I didn't actually noticed you'd sorted the order of each vote
Good idea

And mine! they pushed him from the off, and his votes were not that impressive at all, where were his "2 million twitter followers"?? makes me think he was chosen for the trials from the people who DISLIKED him regardless the spin ITV2 said....oh and Lucy did well in the votes regardless the edit she got, wonder if they had shown the "fun Lucy" we hear from the other campmates she may have had a chance of winning something the programme did not want for some reason.

Perfectly understandable and logical to anyone other than those who doesn't want to believe it. Amy - God love, I do pity her to some extent - would twist the ground under your feet if she thought it would make her look better.

Thankfully, looking at the voting figures, very few fell for it.”

Excellent post.

Points of interest
- Not once did Joey outpoll Kian from the Camp Saviour vote until the end
- Joey lost to Lucy in nearly all the eviction votes!!!
- Amy topped the voting at the start of eviction week but had lost all that support by the end (makes sense imo)
- Vincent had barely any support at all”

Thanks for posting that.

When Laila went ant and dec said it might be her or Alfonso it was actually her and Vincent. Would Vincent have got a spike in voting if his fans knew he was in danger?

The stats show the public soon realised that all the evicted celebs couldn't be wrong about Amy as her popularity dropped.

Glad Lucy was doing well as I feel she got blamed far too much for anything against Amy.

On the second eviction Vincent was very close to leaving, yet I'm pretty certain it was Alfonso who was told 'it might be you'. I wonder if this was a ploy to get Alfonso some extra votes the next night since it was to be a double or just to wind him up with the expense of Vincent. Every other 'it might be you' was the second bottom of the vote apart from that night. Seems odd to me.”

Yes it was Alfonso who was told it might be you. They've done this before on previous years as well. When Colin and Justin were in a few years back they were both told "it might be you" on the first eviction but in fact Justin wasn't in the bottom two - I assume it was more dramatic to pit a couple against each other in that way.
The only reason I can think for putting Alfonso in the "might be you" would be because he was so desperate to go therefore he would give a better reaction when he didn't.

That's one of the few posts that doesn't make a simplistic and unjustified interpretation of the numbers.

Those who say the numbers show Amy lost supporters are wrong.

That her percentage of the votes declined does not mean that anyone stopped voting for her. Sure, people may have stopped. Others may have started. The total may have gone down, or up. We don't know. Those numbers don't say.

Here are two of the ways Amy's percentage of the votes could go down without her losing supporters:

1. People who'd been voting for celebs who went out shifted their votes to others in preference to Amy.

2. Casual viewers started voting more and were influenced by the edit's emphasis on Amy's wrongs to vote for others rather than for her.

Amy's votes were high when the edits were in her favour ..Lucy's however were consistent ..with goos or bad edits

Interesting set of results. Afew suprises for me -

1, Joey never topped the vote when evictions began despite being bookies favourite.

2, David on several occasions came very close to going.

3, Lucys support was quite solid throughout which I put down to ED voters

I think it is wildly unlikely that actual fans of amy thought any such thing. They just didnt vote. I suspect from their general approach that they are skewed towards the very young, and perhaps don't have control of the phone account.

There is no reason to suppose that people from popular soaps do particularly well on rtv shows.

Is this 'the person I supported was popular, the person you supported was lucky'?

The young voter for Lucy only voted on one occasion, so she could not possibly explain any general popularity; and 2000 votes doesn't even seem particularly big in a programme with over 10,000,000 viewers.

All this says is the person with the biggest fanbase going into the camp wins, regardless of how entertaining they are.
