|Is it ok to take your own dogs temperature?
I'm not squeamish & used to be an RGN many moons ago so there's not much that bothers me.
I only ask because I think Danny is bit off his food & he sicked up all his breakfast this morning. I just thought if I took it & it was ok then it was just a one off but if he were pyrexic I could see a vet. Thanks. |

Thing is it isn't just temp they take when they decide if it's a worry or not, my vet does it almost last after he has examined dog from tip to tail with special feeling around of the tummy area. So even if temp was OK it could still mean you need to take a trip to the vet. TBH I would see how your dog is tomorrow or later today if he looks very unwell.

No point in me doing it then. Thank you. He wolfed his tea down just now so fingers crossed...
