Hi all,

I've been having terrible Service problems with my iPhone 5 since Saturday, and wondered if anyone else has experienced something similar?

Basically, my phone can be displaying full signal but whenever I attempt to make a call, the call fails as if I have no signal. If I toggle Airplane Mode on/ off or turn my iPhone off completely and then reboot it, I generally manage to get signal. However, after an hour or so, signal once again goes (despite displaying full bars) and I'm unable to make or receive calls/ texts.

I upgraded to iOS7 several months ago, and am now aware that this particularly upgrade has caused signalling problems.

Since the problems have started, I've restored both my network settings and my iPhone and removed and replaced the Sim, but the problem persists. At times, I'm getting a "Searching" or "No Signal" message, whereas others calls fail on a full signal. As I say, I can make calls and texts if I toggle flight mode (generally) but this isn't ideal.

Aside from taking into Orange (which I will be doing), is there any other obvious fix that I'm missing?

Thanks

If you have done all that then i think it's fair to say its humped. Either that or it's the sim that's knackered.

On any other phone I would say this sounds more like a network problem so try another network. And if you can't try switch network mode (2G/3G).

Thanks, I'll give that a go.
