Get on YOU talk endlessly about you, and you mention me in loads of your posts, darling.

It's because you want attention, my attention.

I aim to please.

Perhaps if you stopped being so silly about other posters, calling them all sorts (I know it's hard for you shhh) people would just discuss things with you.

That would be good.

I think it was a rather terrible show and the focus was taken away from Kian which was completely ridiculous!

It really was pathetic, wasn't it? But then, IAC was pretty pathetic too. They messed up all round this year.

The people making personal attacks are responsible for their own behaviour (including the personal attacks), not the person they're attacking. And it's making discussion unpleasant and ruining thread after thread.

Unfortunately, the winner often suffers in such shows because there's already a lot of material built up about the others while they're out and he's still in.

Kian is a nice bloke, but what else could you say about him in all honesty? It would be hard to make much of a show around him. The producers muct have been tearing their hair out this year - no wonder they ran with the Contraband saga.

Too much raking up Amy's misdemenors (sp) - she did wrong but to lay into her again once out of the jungle reeked of playground bullying again.

Once out of the jungle, it should have been put behind them. They are hardly likely to cross paths again.

It spoilt the show for me.

What spoiled the Coming Out show for me is the same thing that spoiled the series for me - far too much focus on the least interesting contestants. God, it's been dreary as a result.

She was one of the nicest to Amy in camp and this was the thanks she got.

Also, I loved her with Harry! ”

I think there is a BIG difference from Amy saying she had concealer but they all used it, and the once instance she cites of Rebecca saying she had a spot, Amy taking her into the loo and offering concealer , putting it on her finger and Rebecca no thanks and refusing to use it!!

I think what people are forgetting is that Rebecca is/was an athlete. Her reputation as being honest and not cheating is VERY important to her, to her image, her career. if she was caught taking drugs or misbehaving in any way in her career, her reputation is stuffed a la Lance Armstrong.

She is starting a swimming academy. She doesn't want someone spreading lies about her. She didn't take anything she wasn't allowed into the jungle, and doesn't want to be used as a scapegoat for someone who did. Good on her

She's retired from competition, and using concealer isn't like taking drugs, so the likening to Lance Armstrong doesn't work.

the point was not about what had happened, or what was involved; obviously I'm not suggesting concealer is a drug. Lance was an extreme example for effect.

It was about her reputation for honesty.

She may not be competing but she is still involved in the arena, commentating, developing her swimming lesson training. Sport is an area where honesty is a highly valued currency. Rebecca was angry not just about being lied to but lied about.

the beauty industry, by contrast, is all about trickery, uplift bras, make up, photoshopping...

Amy & Lucy come from two very different experiences.
