Failing to understand how keeping concealer can be seen as cheating

As Alfonso TRIED to explain to Amy, it wasn't about make-up, it was about HER. As she said herself on at least two occasions "If I could get away with it .....". And it's fairly clear that she has absolutely no comprehension of, or care about, how her "getting away with it" COULD have impacted on the camp - three times. As for the lying - I don't think she even knows she's doing it, but other people do know, call her out on it and she still denies it.
Oh dear. Only poor simple Joey bought all of her nonsense, and it's conceivable that it cost him the crown. He'll learn.

It wasnt just concealer though. She had more bikinis that she was allowed. Yes it does sound petty but to the other campmates who took in only what they were allowed, it was cheating.

Such a bunch of bores that the producers allowed something they could hve dealt with day 1 to become the only story. The "celebs" need to take the fee and get a life.

That was a most uncomfortable hour of tv.

Exactly. The campmates could have lost food because of this.

Same here, and then I watch tonight's show and nothing new to see, when I was hoping for something better. -sigh- Will probably watch the next one too.

Yes - it should have been fun, but it really wasn't.

Oh I'm sure she knew, but wouldn't admit it.

I usually really enjoy this last show. It's usually one of my favourite bits of the series. This was really boring - just another hour of this stupid contraband thing. I DON"T CARE. Still didn't get to see Steve or Vincent. Still didn't get to see David or Kian who people actually voted for. Didn't get to see anything interesting about anyone or their families. I'm really cross with myself for wasting an hour watching it and it just bought home what a rubbish series it's been this year, other than Kian, David and the little we saw of Vincent. The confrontations tonight were set up, unconvincing and uncomfortable, but more importantly, imo, just really really petty and uninteresting.

Imagine what some of them are like when they walk in to a Boots...

It took me back to the school playground. Which was quite surprising to see from people much older than me.

I'd like to believe them when they say they really did have fun in there that wasn't shown. But seeing more and more of their personalities I'm thinking 'fun' is a bit of a stretch and the producers were forced to go to such desperate measures to compensate for it.

I hope for their sake they did get something out of it though as it was their experience and not mine. I doubt it will be long before this series slips my mind. I mean I've watched almost every series and it all seems like one big blur now, I struggle to recall more than 15 campmates, which is mostly the finalists.

I was so gobsmacked and angry I had to switch over . In all the years I've never seen such a petty, vile bunch .

I never ever want to see that vindictive creature Annabel Giles on my screen again .

So all of them were petty and vile. You werent in there and had to live with Amy. Surely they can't all be wrong and she is right. Her laziness was an issue as well. As far as I could see, she really hadnt much going for her accept a pretty face and a nice figure and Im afraid that gets boring after a while. She was quite clever though being able to cry without any tears.

It was pretty bad. I must have missed the winner and runner up hitting their rooms. But we did get five minutes of Joey eating food...so that was something.

The older bullies still abusing that girl because of a jar of spot cream was a low spot in their careers i would have thought.

No, they would lose food only if the producers wanted them to.

Well, yes they can, just as a group of bullies can all be wrong.

The most pathetic one of them all has got to be Matthew wright. I mean wading in on other peoples arguments is really sad. It just makes him look like a looser. Amy's Dad should of punched him in the face!

But the others did take in 'contraband' and we would never have known about any of it if it wasnt for them wanting to be seen as the 'team players' and 'good guys' by being so quick to hand it all in when all the bosses really wanted was Amys chewing gum

Let`s not forget that Amy was hired as camp `totty`.

As Mo so charmingly made clear, Amy was a nobody. She was hired to look good in a bikini. They had literally zero respect for her from the start for that very reason.

In those circumstances it is a bit rich for the older women to have a go at her for wearing a different bikini, or having a spot concealer.

Let`s face it, she was just doing the job she was being paid for.

i.e Looking good in the jungle and giving Ant and Dec someone to perve over.

At all stages, Amy was simply doing her job, which was to provide some eye candy for the lads.

As far as I remember David had a torch and another camp mate had some soap.

Amy had:

Chewing gum
Concealer
Some sort of lip liner
Chap stick
Bikinis
Sarongs

and god knows what else.
