Even counting all those people, you are not 'most homes around the world'. I don't know how many parents swear in front of their children. My husband certainly did, and I did under duress. It does not appear to have harmed them: one swears and the other doesn't. It's just personal choice. I would 1000 times rather people used f words in front of their children than bigoted or racist language. A mother-and-toddler-group friend once criticised my choice of school, in front of both of our children, by saying it was full of n*****s. Now THAT was a deal breaker.

some may think it not right but if parents want to use than bigoted or racist language its up to them.its only language, but now if they tell there kids to use violence against others that is wrong,

but if saying there is too many ......,up to them in what they teach they kids just as long as its not violence I would not care,

Omg leave the woman alone you are all sounding like bullies yourself. Everything this woman does is wrong. Yes swearing in front of children is bad but i am sure her child knows not too repeat it and the clue is there HER child. Get of your high horses and come back to reality i would bet a million pounds that half of you have sworn when things have got too you!! Sick of the Lucy slating now!! Its wrong that everything she does is wrong when your defending a proven liar!!

I don't actually think this thread is particuarly hostile...

How would her daughter know not to use it if her own mother can say it quite easily? Actually I don't really care as I can't stand Lucy anyway. I'm just using this as an excuse so I can moan about her!

I know my son knows not to repeat anything like that if he hears it and he is 3 her daughter is a lot older. So yes i would assume her daughter would know not too. Just because a person swears does not mean they are a bad parent.

Im sure swear words are used in most playgrounds up and down the country. As soon as a child goes to school they hear all sorts. Not that I condone swearing but you cant avoid it these days.

Maybe I am old fashioned but I do not like swearing at all.My old neighbour was married to a nasty man who swore at her in front of their children one day at playgroup she was told that her three year old son had used the f word at another child. It was funny though as she said we never swear at home I don't know where he got it from!

I grew to like Lucy during the last few shows but that does not mean I have to agree with everything she does or says and I can have an opinion without being called an Amy fan which I am not.Infact it would be funny to see if the comments would have been the same if Amy had a child and swore in front of her!

Me too . Frankly nothing she could do now will erase the fact that she led a campaign of bitching against a young girl out of pure spite and (in my humble opinion) jealousy.
Did she say she only did celeb to pay off debts ? I thought she said that in the car when refusing to elaborate on her time in there. Nice, grab the money and run fulfilling only the merest basics of your contract. Classy to the end .Emmerdale take note, she really doesn't give a stuff as long as the money rolls in.
She should ask for a refund on her plastic surgery for starters . Epic fail there.Stupid woman.
Boasting that she was happy with her Emmerdale gig is tempting fate though. She'll be in deep trouble if they write her out suddenly.

That is a very good point. If Amy had sworn during that show in front of a child/any child the forum would crash from foutrage filled denunciation of her in post after post. As it was she was dignified under fire and remains classy and far above Becca and Lucy. By a country mile. While Lucy shows herself up as the Chaz she is at heart and Becca is unmasked as telling fibs and rather weak.
When it comes down to it Amy did two lone tasks AND the joint one with joey and kian , while Becca and Luce only limped home with one task each.Lightweights.

I have no problem with swearing per se, but I've always thought it a pretty un-classy, unsophisticated thing to do in front of kids. Not exactly a great example to set, but it's not the worst thing she's done since appearing on the show.

I'm giving it a 6 out of 10 on my outrage scale.

So what if she has debts? If she fulfills her contractual obligations and then returns to work at Emmerdale which she said she absolutely loves - how is that lacking in class?

Your whole post is just a really jaded and distorted view where she simply can't get past the sheer dislike of Lucy. She went into the Jungle - was popular with almost all of the campers. Played a major part in the storyline that the producers chose to run with.

As a bonus she was placed top female and third overall. I personally didn't hear her say she only did it for the money - if she did I don't really have a problem with it. I did hear her say that she relished the personal challenge.

We don't all like the some people. Some we dislike more than others and then there are some that we love. It all contributes to make it what it is.

I just really don't get your points at all ^^^.

Oh, this is funny!

I don't like to see a grown woman swear in front of her (very sweet, very young) little girl.

That makes me a bully

What a very silly thing to say. They are all in there for either money or the hope of media work: no one does IAC and gives all their money away to charity then refuses all interviews. And I can't begin to imagine what is in your fantasy contract that she failed to comply with. As she came third and generated a lot of debate I should think that the producers are very pleased with their choice.

Saying that she loved her job, eh? What a loser. Deserves to be sacked just for appreciating it.

Considering (I'm assuming no one from this board was in the taxi with Lucy) how do you all know what word Lucy used and of course unless your a lip reader.

And those people who are racist and bigoted more than likely also swear in front of their children.

Spiteful posts about someone being spiteful remind me of David Emmanuel bitching about people being bitches.

I didn't see or hear that particular incident; however if itv saw fit to bleep it,then that doesn't sound good.plus it was shown after the watershed, and they still saw fit to bleep it out.
