It's an interesting analogy.
If a person is drunk and get's into a car and has the keys on their person, they CAN still be arrested for being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle EVEN if they do not put the keys in the ignition, let alone drive anywhere.
I DO take your point, but I disagree on the application of it here. for me the argument is purely- did she touch, or have any of that concealer on her her person intentionally, whether she used it for her original purpose or not. If the answer is yes then for me she has used it (albeit not for the intention she had when she put her finger in it)
It's not always carrying out the action, but the intention. As others have said- she stated on the show tonight that she didn't use it on the zit on her face because it was the wrong shade for her skin type.
