Why couldn't they say it to her face?

Amy did have a point, if she was irritating them why couldn't they just tell her and at least give her the chance to change her behaviour, it's as though they didn't want to give her that chance.

I thought the camp mates looked terribly petty at the wrap party in particular Matthew, Rebecca and alfonso. Al was speaking to Amy as though she had committed a terrible crime and I don't think his pep talk on the sofa made him come across we'll at all. It was all just a little bit unnecessary with them still going on about the make up.

I read something that was said on loose women about the other women projecting their insecurities on to Amy...and seeing her in a poor light as a result

What I'm still confused is that why does everyone still care? For once I aggreed with Lucy. What goes on in the jungle stays in the jungle. Are their lives that pathetic and meaningless that they are still angry about Amy's contraband. If they were normal people they would probably joke about it, now that their out.

No, they are angry because Amy has been running round the tabloids slagging them off. And really, that is not unreasonable, is it?

Well Al did and he got thrown under the bus. What gave her the impression they would be fine with losing three meals, when they were warned all if them handed their extra stuff in straight away so she must have known how they felt, it doesn't take a genuis to work it our.
Amy knew she done wrong but was trying to find excuses, first it was 'I got away with it' now it's 'if I knew blah blah'

No they are still angry about the whole make up thing. Didn't you watch tonight's show? Rebecca basically calling Amy a liar and Al asking Amy if Rebecca used it. I mean so what if she lied? They were all horrible to Amy from the start. Amy didn't owe them anything. And that pathetic argument that Rebecca thinks that everyone will brand her a cheater is pathetic. Does the swimming world really care about if She used a bit of make up in the jungle? I doubt it very much.

Exactly. Why couldn't Amy say what she had to say, to their faces, instead of running the the press? All this innocent victim rubbbish from Amy, is just her way to get the publicity, in my opinion. Enjoy it, while it lasts.

Imo the only reason Lucy said that, was because she knew how badly she came across. That's why she was harping on about" I've still got my career, I've still got this,I've still got that ,blah, blah, blah".

In the grand scheme of things it was a reality show on TV , so a bit of concealer was offered and refused ( due to its colour ) .A girl brought a bit of make up in and it became an incident far far bigger than it was
No one died, no one was injured ,no one lost money .It really doesnt matter and the adults who are making it a HUGE issue and Rebecca bleating on about her Olympian integrity need to get a grip and see real and genuine causes for outrage in the world

From what David said on This Morning ...they did tell her to her face and we saw Matthew telling her to get up and do something... Amy playing the victim again

Totally agree OP and the BIB especially is very interesting to hear..

re not talking to her face- I've said this for a while now- I have no idea why supposedly grown adults chose not to speak to Amy face to face (in a way, fair play at least to Alfonso for talking to her directly, although I agree he could have handled it better at the wrap party), and instead chose to bitch and moan about her behind her back. This wasn't only childish, but worse for me it was excluding, and this was rightly seen as 'ganging up' whilst in there by Al, David and Vincent. I hate to see the 'us' against 'her' kind of thing.

To Amy's credit, despite having suspected people were ganging up/ bitching about her/ putting her down, she never once lost her cool with them. She maintained an air of dignity and class about her, even at the wrap party where they really should have known better. She emerged with great credit for how she handed it all. Others, I cannot say the same for.

I definitely noticed nasty remarks being made about Amy, especially from Laila. Okay, Amy might not have been a complete innocent victim in all this, but the women treating her coldly was definitely noticeable, I thought.

She told Rebecca she had given in the concealer, so Rebecca had talked to her.

She had told her the same about the blue biking, but not done it of course.

We saw Lucy talking to her about the gum.

David said on This Morning that he had talked to her, no result.

Matthew talked to her. No result.

Alfonso talked to her - go thrown under the bus.

I think that's sort of enough for anyone to get the hint really.

There would have been nothing wrong in trying to apologise but Amy was truly exposed as the scheming liar she is. Being faced with the truth must have been a shock. Amy was like a rabbit caught in the headlights. So instead of apologising, she lied even more. Then ran away off to hide.

Did Rebecca tell her to hand it in? If so, when?

That is what Rebecca said, something like 'but she told me she had given it in', before the Alfonso thing.

And last night it was shown that Rebecca was shocked about the blue bikini, because Amy had told her she'd given it up 'she lied to my face'.

Now I am taking Rebecca's word for it. Based on her reactions, and her character.

You may take Amy's word for it, however there are enough lies of a similar sort, that EVERYONE heard - ie 'I've given it all in' but then the campmates realised she hadn't by the end, so they knew she had lied to them too, David and Kian, to make it far more than probable that Amy lied to Rebecca, as WELL as EVERYONE else.

It seems pretty straightforward to me.

Well I'll ask you the question that I've asked one or two,but have not received an answer to as yet. Do you believe Rebecca never heard Lucy say a bad word against Amy?

Was she there with the others when they were having a go? If so, she had, but was being kind, and stressing the fact that Lucy was okay. After all, if it was a lie, what was it's purpose? Damage? or helpfulness and reassurance?

If she wasn't with them in that incident, then yes, I believe her, it appears that ALL the little incidents between Lucy and Amy were shown, some even dubiously edited, which shows they had to try rather hard.

But answer my list? Do you think Amy was told rather a lot?

Do you think she was really taking any of it in? Or seriously?

Yeah I did notice Lucy kept quiet on last nights episode when the others cornered Amy. She must know how bitchy she came across and is trying to redeem herself. Unlikely to happen though!

i think you will find dureing the show last night whilst in the transport she said she did'nt care how she came across ..because she was just going back to her day job ..i think Amy has more to worry about on thats score

But a lot of the things said about Amy in camp she did not know about because they were said behind her back, I don't see how that is any better than slagging off someone to the tabloids. Another thing to remember is that sometimes tabloid papers take their story from other sources....Amy may not have run to the tabloids like you are saying

Amy is doing the typical pass the blame to the others because she has broken the rules, and not just once, but over and over. People have broken rules before yes but usually they get caught, everyone has a moan or a laugh about it and it's done with.

Amy chose to be a sneak.

She then deflects the blame from herself by saying "they should have talked to me about it". Why should they? It's up to the producers to sort out her contraband. She knew the consequences she's supposedly an adult.

She has no social skills at all - unless it involves self promotion
