I warmed to Natalie quite a bit when she laughed in Len's face when he was having his ridiculous strop on Saturday!

(Disclaimer I am not an immigration expert but my first marriage was to a US citizen, so I learned a lot, fast! Rules have changed since then but I'm sometimes asked for an opinion from other folk in relationships with non EU partners, so I've kept up with it in a vague way).”

Part of his problem is also his former marriage to.

Yeah, I think I'd need more that a few rags regurgitating a story based on rumours to believe it especially when there's some pretty basic errors in the story about her being mia etc. We shall see I suppose, but fingers crossed it's BS.

As Betty says below, the rules are different depending on the nationality of the professional.

Also, different rules for different nations, Australia and NZ are commonwealth countries so have slightly different allowances. Ola is Polish so doesn't need a work visa, regardless of marriage, because it's part of the EU.”

I hope it's not true. There was a photo on Twitter a week or so ago of Kara out with Denise, Kimberley and Kristina. I like the ongoing friendships that come out of Strictly

LOL "friendship". How often are those women seen out together when it's not SCD season?? It was a photo op more than anything.

Often these Strictly relationships split up. I think the dancing is very intense and a lot of actresses split up anyway. Look at how many showbusiness couples have split up this year? I think Kara has done her best to keep out of the limelight with her relationship.

Artem has said that everything is fine and they are not splitting up. He then thanked fans for their support of them over the years.

Shame he felt the need to say something because of the gutter press

It was a message on his Facebook fan page by the way!

Yes, the tabloids often throw speculation out there and it can be a 'damned if you do', 'damned if you don't' situation as regards saying anything about it.

Usually it's standard procedure to say nothing in response.

I like both Artem and Kara from what I have seen of them so as long as they are both happy is good and being both happy together is even better.

These dance training sessions are very intense and go on for weeks. It's more intense than one may get to be with their RL partner. Anything can happen. Did you notice yesterday on ITT, Abbey wanted to put her head on Aljaz' shoulder but stopped at the last moment.

she has been all over him from the start, whereas he is actually quite reserved. i think its just her character, she enjoys playing as is evidenced by her delight in dancing, but thats all it is. what i like most about abbey is that she never moans, and consistently improves.

Although Kara wasn't my personal favourite in SCD 2010 I do think she comes across as a thoroughly nice person and her relationship with Artem clearly sprang from genuine feelings for each other rather than the publicity stunts we see from some.

I hope their partnership is still solid - breakups are always sad but I must confess bemusement when I see comments on DS claiming to be 'worried' about them. How can one possibly worry about the private lives of complete strangers?

I mentioned that she seemed to be unnecessarily friendly towards him weeks ago.

But, she may be what we used to call in my youth, "a toucher." Women you know, who in conversation with you like to be a "bit hands on," although there's no real sexual connotation.

She definitely is, you watch how she will grab Tess around the waist when she comes up to the cleb lounge for her interview (of course she won't do it tonight, just to make me look a liar ),

They were my personal favourites but I agree about being 'worried', why would anyone be worried about their relationship, unless of course they were friends.

Cynical much. How about the new season reminding them that they hadn't got together for a while and sparking a phone call. Quite often happens in real life, no?

We don't know. It may be they hang out a lot out of season but the news value of pictures is to do with topicality as much as who is papped. In October, November and December SCD is on a trio of former SCD participants has topicality. In February less so.

Maybe it makes me weird, but lasting relationships between celebs gives me faith I was genuinely upset when Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston broke up and when David and Victoria Beckham were having problems. My best friend thought it was quite amusing how upset I was and tortured me by teasing that Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward were on the rocks as for a while they were the only solid couple I could think of I want to believe Kara and Artem will last forever, especially now I know they have Pixie-Bobs (I have one too). Am I tragic?

No, I think that makes sense . Only ever hearing about celebrity couples splitting up, and never about them lasting, can just make you feel like no relationship lasts.
And those bobcats are cute!

I don't see the celebrity magazines but, from scanning through newspapers online, I don't remember seeing them featuring regularly at various events (the proverbial opening of an envelope?). Perhaps they are like many couples and just get on with life together i.e. boring!

It probably isn't relevant to report them going out whenit is not SCD season either.

I haven't seen any of their social calendars so can't comment.

Are you tragic? Well, I have no idea as I don't know you, but your post intrigued me as I was just flipping between threads whilst singing "Fallin'". (Yes, I'm a Benite. ) Anyway, your post made me wonder if you are simply a born romantic, whether you are star-struck or whether you wish all couples (in the public eye or private, unknown ones) could have lasting relationships. I wondered why you hanker for the fairytale ending when statistics show that the divorce rate is now one in two couples.

I have two moggies.

I wish Natalie would cuss Len out and cackle in his face, but her big booming laugh comes out quite randomly.
