Vodafone Sure Signal - Sell on eBay
I bought a vodafone sure signal box from eBay last year when signal was a little patchy in my old house. I have since moved and also PAC'ed my number from vodafone to Three.
As soon as my number moved across to Three I lost the ability to log into my voadafone online account. I thought nothing of it until I thought I would have a clear out and sell the unit back on eBay. Unfortunately I am now in a position where if I were to sell it I would have to make sure it has been untied from my old vodafone account, but as I cannot log into it I can't unregister it. Has anyone else been in this situation? I thought about phoning vodafone, but as I am no longer a customer they may not want to help me. Or if they do want to help, I have no account with them now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

If you knew somebody else with a Vodafone phone I suppose you may be able to call Vodafone to say that you want to set it up on a different phone? They may help you that way.

Thanks for the replies. My mother is on vodafone so I could say that I want to give it to her. I'll ask the question on the eforums as you don't seem to have to be a vodafone customer to post there.
[update] It seems many people have the same issue: http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodaf...x/td-p/1176307 |

Why don't you just phone them up and ask? Would take 5 minutes - much quicker than posting on here, searching on other forums etc.

From his postings it's taken nearly 3 hours and they were still not sure - 5 mins on the phone to Vodafone or even live help and it would have been all sorted out.
He'd probably still be on the phone to Mumbai |
