I think they come across as being rather pampered and babied by their parents and neither appears to be particularly aware anyone outside of their own little bubble.
I can understand Joey being babied to a certain extent as his dad has obviously protected him since the loss of his mother.

Amy, I'm not really sure. Is her mum on the scene? Her dad seemed to look at her in the adoring way we look at our new borns or our toddlers taking their first steps. He just seemed to think she could do no wrong and would may go some way to explaining why she has no interest in how her actions affect others

Yes spot on. I do also question the kerching factor in this though Very sad man on many levels,

Strange for defending his daughter? I don't think people should be aloud to slag off the celebrities F&F - it's not fair.

Her mum is on the scene but I would imagine a lot of her time is taken in looking after her son/Amy's little brother who is disabled.

I said this to a poster called Polli but they replied it was was ok to say what you wanted about celebs, friends and families as they didn't read this board but it was a no no to do this to other posters who surprisingly had been saying vile and nasty things about celebs etc. to me that's cowardly and I know for a fact friends and family members use this board

No totally wrong for defending his daughter. He has obviously done far too much of that in the past as she is the outcome. I will also state my opinion thank you. He was on a nice little freebie on this show. Does this protection of FM's ,of course, only apply to Amy's family?

I do love Joey ..........just can't help it. I hope he steers clear of the scheming little madam.

He is a simple, good hearted little soul but - he is clued up. I don't think he'll fall for her duplicitousness.

I hope not.

Nor that he's led to it by his minders.

Nor that he actually is pretending and playing it for all he's worth.

I'd be gutted if he was.

But he didn't DENY it. That worries me. And they're appearing together.

Not good.

You two made me read this article because of these comments. I'm annoyed about that because this type of stuff bores me silly and I'm even more annoyed because I had to read it more than once However still to no avail because I can't find anything about him pimping his daughter

Please tell what do you mean?

Think about what Amy does for a living, and what she sells.

Her father promotes that.

Here's a couple of clues, it isnt' a talent or skill, and it's not her personality.

It's not clothes either.

It's what?

I'm not sure what she sells I only know that she is a beauty queen. Why wouldn't a Dad 'promote' that?

Personally I don't like the whole beauty pageant circuit. Nor do I like the page 3 circuit or lad's mag circuit. Also the whole z list cult of celeb that's so worshiped these days for zero talent (Joey for example).

Sure I watch RTV shows, but not to worship any of the celebs, but more for the interactions when they come face to face with different people from different lifestyles. Frankly it shocks me the amount of twitter fans that talentless people like Joey has as opposed to real talented people like Steve Davis. But that's just me. I've never understood the worship or appeal about people who have easy fame.

I agree. I was pretty shocked when they thought Joey was the most famous one in there, seeing as he is the one with the least actual talent out of the lot of them.

It seems Joey and Amy are the chosen ones to be pimped all over the media. Why is anyone fawning of that pair when there were actually people in there with real talent and who are famous as a by product of their actual job rather than for the sake of it?

Exactly! Both of them need to grow up. Parents and family don't do the person any favours to pamper and spoil them. For goodness sake they are 21 and 23 - NOT 5 and 6.

Think both of them need a reality check on what is real life. Looks don't last forever - not even with surgical intervention!!!

I am fed up with both of them. I really don't want to read or see them again - and this from an ex-TOWIE fan!

and speaking of scrapings are you an Amy now a couple....massive dig by Phil in the interview

The best definition of Amy is twisty ... gawd help Joey she will use him up and spit him out.

The pair had people turning off the e4 after party in droves last night when instead of watching Cogans exceptance speech they where interviewed for seemed like an hour.
