BBC local news programmes
They've suddenly disappeared from YouView, yet I've noticed they're still available on the iPlayer website. Does anybody know a reason for this? It's the only way I can watch the local news from my own area.

I've noticed that the local news channels are still available (in theory) on the iPlayer website, but not via the YouView box, which seems very strange.

Sorry - getting my terminology in a twist. What I should have said was that the local news channels have disappeared from BBC iPlayer when entered via YouView. They're still there if you enter the iPlayer via a computer. It all seems rather illogical to me.

I was also pointing out that where I live, it is impossible to receive the most local regional programme. Although my town is theoretically within its coverage (just), there is unlikely to be any mention unless there is a mass murder. One of the other programmes provides more regular coverage but I can't receive it, no matter which way the aerial is pointing.
