Well she might have meant it as a compliment. She was not a smooth talker. But it was a bit ham-fisted if so. The time to tell someone that they look better without makeup is when they have no make up on, not when they have finally slapped the lot on after three weeks of enforced minimalism.

I remember Laila telling a story of when Gary Oldman was dating Isabella Rossellini. He took her home. Despite being born into Hollywood royalty, IB didn't expect to waited on hand and foot. Apprarently, she just mucked in with the rest of the family.”

That makes even less sense though..

If she has met ladies like Isabella Rossellini why she would object to Amy's 'genteel' nature as she did in her eviction interview as if it was an off putting trait. She wouldn't think Amy particularly posh either..!

Isabella is the height of 'genteelness' if thats a word, she's very elegant!

Isabella probably presumed that Mo was the cleaner .

You really are making very obvious your snobbery or lack of upbringing now!

I don't think she objected about it, simply commented and she also complimented Amy on her speaking voice?

Gary's probably not that much different from Mo!

Don't get me wrong. I think that Mo is an unlikeable hard faced character, but I really didn't take it as anything other than a compliment on Amy's natural beauty, regardless of how much make up she was wearing at the time.

I think what Mo was being, in her own gruff and inarticulate way, was wry. As in, 'Here you are, after all your fuss over your makeup and the drama it caused, and all for nothing since you look much better without it.'

That's what I got from it. She wasn't being directly rude or directly complimentary, just wry with a dash of impatience at all the fuss it has caused.

That's how I read it. I'm not sure what she was supposed to say to her ...........she was simply being Mo.

There was also weird pauses,it's almost as if Layla doesn't know how to behave socially.

Combine that with her odd eviction interview where she refused to tell Ant and Dec pretty much anything, demanded to know what Annabel had said regarding Amy and then went on to mock Amy's accent and mannerisms. She then stated that 'Amy talks proper, she's not like the rest of us' as if that was a crime on Amy's part.

Layla making fun of someone for being posh Her brother is GARY OLDMAN!! I should imagine he mixes in some pretty 'posh' circles, the like of which Amy can only dream of!

It was also Layla that called Amy a c*** in the jungle which I for one think was totally unacceptable.

I don't think the woman's all there ”

Gary was married to Uma Thurman, I think she's quite posh.

Of course it makes sense. IR mucked in and integrated well with Mo and Gary's family. Mo liked her for that.

It seems clear to me that Mo can spot a fake wannabee a mile away.

She doesn't seem the sharpest tool and has no conversational skills. Still, she is what she is.

Maybe she was trying to get across that Amy didn't need to take in all that make up in the first place, although TBH I'm never quite sure what Mo is trying say.

As for hugs...I'm not a hugger, so I can't comment on that. I wish people I'm not close to didn't feel they had the right to hug and kiss me though”

Maybe the fact that Mo has met some stunningly beautiful, talented, classy women through Gary and they've all been lovely, down to earth people who integrated themselves well with the family means she doesn't really have much time for someone she sees as having ideas above their station.

Layla declared in the jungle 'I'm trying to have a du*p here amd i've got an audience' No body says things like that, well maybe they do but not many people..

And Gary was married to the stunning Uma Thurman, can you imagine family get togethers
Did Layla speak like that around Gary's friends or reign it in a bit..

She doesn't act in Eastenders either,Mo IS Layla. They are one and the same person. Diito Helen Flanigan when she played Rosie Webster.

Thanks. You managed to understand my post! What a brilliant reply.

Laila has been friends with Isabella Rossellini and Uma Thurman was her sister-in-law!

What's wrong with that? Dump is just a slang word for what I call a poo. She wanted one and there were people about. There are far worse words she could have used like shit.

So what if Laila is like her EE character? Many people are like the characters they play.

Big Mo is no style icon and has all the charm of a runaway rhino.

I like her 'upset with someone' face, looks like a bulldog licking piss off a thistle.

So you missed Steve Davis saying he couldn't council Annabel because he was having a s**t ?

Maybe Gary and his friends aren't so judgemental ...although I don't see why he keeps being brought into this topic...

He did! Thanks for reminding everyone.

I'd like to remind everyone that Amy said Lucy's food tasted like shit! With that just that one comment she showed herself to be disrespectful, rude, ungrateful and common as muck!

I'm not sure that I agree with the comments on this thread;after all when Mo was interviewed just after she came out,she said that she was going to be a nicer person,so you lot must be wrong.

Unless that was the nicer Mo.
