contouring face without need for full makeup?

The problem is my jawline is very soft & I have sod all cheekbones so I'd like to try contouring. Can this be done without the need for a face full of make up though? I don't mind doing highlighting/contouring but I don't particularly want to have to start wearing foundation, blusher & all sorts. Although I reckon something natural looking but evens out my skin tone & covers my shadows could be good- any recommendations?

Had you considered going to the cosmetic counter in either a department store or chemist to see what practical advice they can offer? I'd also suggest emphasising that you're interested in cost efficient products so that you don't face an ongoing heavy outlay. Good luck on this one!

I guess that's the best place to go,thanks

The makeup women at those counters scare me though, they look like orange clowns (not all of them). Don't want to be turned into someone who has to wear makeup all the time (well, more than the contouring stuff)

In which case, I'd suggest going to the more up market make up counters e.g. in the most prestigious department stores so that you're more likely to get the most professional service. As a major city, Belfast must have some outlets that meet these criteria.

Cerebus the Aadvark
is not the only one with 49 roach senses! (long story)

Seriously, if you're home on Christmas hols in Belfast then there should be no shortage of potential outlets to help you.

PS I'm getting this as the major UK city - http://edsalter.com/wp-content/uploa...-show-5405.jpg Is that correct?
