Turned it off when I saw that idiot Winkleman.

I don't think Claudia appreciates that some people actually like to see how the numbers round is calculated after racking their brains.

I normally like Claudia but I found her quite irritating tonight. She was trying too hard to be kooky and funny but failing miserably and was just embarrassing. You could tell that Jon was irritated by her and was just ignoring her stupidly schtick.

Issy's story is still making me giggle. "Sadie coughed, like a slag does."

Blame the producers then.

Oh I do, but he's a regular; Claudia is not.

Hahahaha yeah I really enjoyed that bit! Her Welsh song was funny as well

Watched the fairly tedious 'funny intros' bit for 15 minutes
then they brought Wonkywink on and I bailed and read a
good book. Jon Richardson is enough of a depression on
the telly, without a joke, unfunny whiner trying to replace
Rachel.

Yes it was.
She was a great "corner" guest.

The introductions are the best part of the show, esp when there's a good mix like last night.

Richardson is one of the best comedians around at the minute. There are plenty of others, but I like his demeanour. Sean too - sometimes he's borderline genius but usually on top form.

I watch this because it's not Countdown. If I just want to see words & numbers I'll record the main show, but I don't.

Rachel isn't The Most Beautiful Girl In The World. To me she has a bit of a duck face about her, her fashion advisers leave a lot to be desired for the outfits she turns up in some weeks, and only a couple of weeks ago wife + me both commented as one about the state of her legs. She wears far too much slap too. Yeah she's fit, brainy, quite attractive and good at being the maths whizz on Countdown, but no way would I watch it just for her contributions.

Claudia was a bit overboard at times esp early on, but it was nice to see a change of scenery. I like her, and enjoyed what she brought to the show yesterday.

It's all about opinions isn't it?

I like Claudia but she was too OTT for me in this, turning over the cards is not the funny bit. Sean looked really quite annoyed with her at one stage.

Isy was great as usual, and she can speak a bit of Welsh - well who knew - and quite a nice singing voice too.

Hope Rachel is back next week though.

I actually preferred Joe Wilkinson and that's really saying something.

She was I've had a bit of a crush on her for while and, being Welsh myself, hearing her sing in Welsh (beautifully, I might add) has just made it worse!

Love a bit of Claude usually but she completely spoiled the whole thing. A mismatch. *reads back a few pages*

Blimey, you're brave. That's heresy round these here parts. Be careful, a lynch mob will be out to get you for voicing that particular view.

Worst Cats Does Countdown ever.

Anyone who's ever defended Winklefringe should be forced to watch that abortion. They'd soon change their minds.

I don't know why Winkers thinks playing the fool like that is going to get her more fans. It would be more beneficial to her if she was more subdued like on The Film Programme. (No idea what she was like on Strictly or Sewing Bee.)

Another reason why Rachel Riley is so popular with a lot of men- She's willing to play a game of football!
Her interview with the Wail's Weekend magazine published yesterday. Up side, two glamorous photos showing off her pins. Down side, she talks about her ongoing romance with her Strictly partner, Pasha Wotshisname.
