Jon being so good at the game actually kinda ruins it a bit. I wouldn`t be remotely be surprised if this mash up of two shows wasn`t his idea in the first place.

Regarding Sean looking as though he doesn't enjoy it and Jon being good at the game, two things crossed my mind. One, maybe their attitude is all part of the show, they thought it would be 'funny' to show Sean looking disgruntled, wishing he wasn't there. Or two, if Jon was winning too much because he's genuinely good at it, maybe they had a meeting where they asked Jon to be a bit more rubbish so that Sean would win to mix things up a bit, and Sean feels genuinely disgruntled because it's quite condescending.

I'm not sure which is more plausible.

Were the comments real, and if so, where can we find them?

Of course they were real, why wouldn't they be
I don't think he said which exact videos they were for, but just search for Countdown videos and you can get close

Agreed, Adam was brilliant and had me laughing out loud too.

Am I correct in saying he has only had one series of Bug on Sky?

Yeah, it's only been one series to date. Hopefully they'll sort out another one.

I think it's genuine that Sean doesn't like the game and Jon does. I don't know if the production staff had words or Jon just thought on his own that he should take it less seriously.

I don't think the show is as good since Jon stopped taking it seriously. I think that somehow, the actual format of Countdown is entertaining. Take away that, and it's just Sean and Jon being gimmicky with their mascot items, which by itself isn't enough to carry the whole show.

It's really sad seeing Jon go for nonsense words that he knows aren't right. And I think that he doesn't look like he's enjoying the show much either. There's a kind of grimace behind his smile.

Also I wonder is there actually anyone who thinks Joe Wilkinson's contributions are funny? I think the general consensus has been that it would be better without him, but I wonder if anyone actually likes his parts.

Agree too, there's no point to it at all any more if Jon is acting like that in every episode and the joke isn't funny anymore.

Also agree that Joe is not even a bit funny and it's so predictable, he does the same thing every week and I can't stand his parts.

It would of been better saved for once off, maybe every Christmas or something, now it's a weekly thing, the jokes are not funny, not like when it first aired as part of the channel four switch up.

You do know that you don't have to watch it if you don't want to?

Haha, thanks, but when someone else is with you and chose to watch it I don't always have a choice, but thanks.

Not on tonight - is it on a week's break, or is that it for this run? Only been a few episodes.

It's always only a few episodes.

Hopefully the new series on 8Oo10C will be back on soon.

It would have been great to have the regular series on at 9 with The Last Leg on at 10

Alright, thanks for that

I don't mind which version of the show it is, I'm happy with either so I'll look forward to the next series.

I really enjoy this show despite not really liking Jimmy or Sean. Joe Lycett and James Corden on it as well is just a step too far. I cannot watch!

I haven't seen this for a while. Has Joe been on before? His voice reminds me of Julian Clary's.
