I have decanted some Blackberry brandy- left over blackberries. Are they OK to eat?
Just wondering. It's probably a silly question but I'm asking it anyway.

Yes, the brandy will have preserved them. But careful, they'll get you very drunk.

Nice with custard or blancmange.
If you don't want to get drunk (and they will be potent! ) Cook them so the alcohol is driven off, but the brandy flavour will remain.

When we made Damson Gin last year we made a brilliant Damson Crumble with the Damsons!

How about using them as the fruit in a trifle - that would be a nice boozy fruity base!!
