All other players are working but on iPlayer there is the following message on screen

"This page display failed. Please check the following items:
Is URL correct?
Is Network settings correct?
Is LAN cable connected?

In certain situations it may not be displayed even under correct setup"

I've unplugged the TV from the mains and waited several minutes before re-connecting/switching on but no difference.

Also if I select iPlayer and then get the above message it is impossible to return to the menu and I have to switch the set off.

All very strange as iPlayer is working on all other devices and all other SMART players on the TV are OK.

Any suggestions?

The BBC are aware of a problem & are looking into it according to this update from their site.

Thanks.
Guess we'll all have to wait until the BBC and/or Sony sort things out.

The iPlayer screen appears on my TV now, but I'm unable to navigate around it to select a programme. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.

Same here now even though it appeared to be working last night.

I emailed the BBC and the automated reply told to expect a response within 10 working days

There seems to have been some improvement, in that I can now navigate around iPlayer, but I still can't actually play a programme.

The iPlayer help site now says

***Updated 17 December 2013***

We have been able to replicate the problem and are working on a fix as a priority.

We'll update this FAQ when further progress is known.

Well it now appears to be working properly.
And the BBC page has been updated to say they have found and fixed the problem.
