Playstore purchase help please
Can I use a playstore voucher to purchase apps for different (identical devices)
I do not want my card details stored on google wallet or whatever it uses as these devices belong to my kids and I do not want a huge bill, and im not sure It would let me do a one off purchase for each of their devices? Can anyone help please. |

As far as I know a Google Play voucher can only be redeemed on one account. You could use the same account on all the devices if you wish.

I don't know anything about the vouchers but I do know that anything purchased on your Google account only has to be bought once.
You can then install the app(s) on both tablets - as many times as you like as far as I know. I don't know what your objections are to opening a Google Wallet account as they're as safe as anything else you do online with your card. It will make things much easier for you in the long run and the cost of the apps is clearly shown and if you don't like something you've paid for, you have 15 minutes in which to uninstall it. You can also block the ability to use the in-app purchasing facility that some apps have and any purchases are password protected as well. |

You could always put a password on your account to prevent store purchases.

Because I didn't realise that you didn't have to have one account for each device - which if i understand you correctly I can use a google wallet account that is mine, but use the apps for their tablets. I do worry about the kids buying stuff, and as ive never let them have paid for apps on their phones, and nor have I ever had them, I know very little about it all. So do I create a google wallet account and add their devices to it? |

Just the one account which you can use on as many android tablets as you wish. All of your apps will be there, both the paid and the unpaid ones, which you can download onto the second of the tablets after installing them on the first ![]() Quote:

You really needn't worry - it's all password protected ![]() Just make sure you don't use anything obvious as a password, like one of their names! ![]() Quote:

When you are setting-up the first tablet, you will be asked to do it then, along with setting-up your Google account.Just repeat the process on the second one only this time, all the apps you downloaded onto the first one will be ready for you to download. Hope that makes sense? If not - just post a question here and either myself or someone else will help you. Good luck!
