That's right - yes.
Just the one account which you can use on as many android tablets as you wish.
All of your apps will be there, both the paid and the unpaid ones, which you can download onto the second of the tablets after installing them on the first

You really needn't worry - it's all password protected
Just make sure you don't use anything obvious as a password, like one of their names!

When you are setting-up the first tablet, you will be asked to do it then, along with setting-up your Google account.
Just repeat the process on the second one only this time, all the apps you downloaded onto the first one will be ready for you to download.
