Winners and losers

Lets see who benefits from this year's jungle.

Kian - winner, but will he benefit?
David - all round good guy, but will he benefit?
Matthew - A few more ratings for a while
Amy - will snag a footballer and vanish, with any luck
Annabelle - some much deserved work I hope.
Lucy - Very gracious I thought, not buying into the tabloids
Joey - Likeable, but unstutainable, he will disappear
Mo - Quite unfazed by the press, she will continue to be herself
Alfonzo - Really impressed me, I don't think this will do anything for his career, but he acquitted himself well
Steve - A revelation
Vincent - Such a sweetheart
Rebecca - An absolute sweetheart with a big heart

Kian - nice bloke but nothing out the ordinary
David - another nice bloke, perhaps a spot on a morning show
Matthew - A few more ratings for a while
Amy - Can't see much work coming her way.
Annabelle - Hopefully a few acting roles.
Lucy - Will carry on in Emmerdale for a few more years.
Joey - Likeable, but TOWIE won't last much longer with all the cast changes.
Mo - Carry on in Eastenders for a while I presume.
Alfonzo - Did ok but can't see a career for him over here.
Steve - My favourite, Will get a few more after dinner jobs and carry on with his snooker.
Vincent - liked him a lot but apart from dancing, not much for him.
Rebecca - Liked her as well but better look for a day job.

It's funny how we all view things so completely differently ...... I'd disagree with the majority of your assumptions and the comment about Lucy being "gracious" is simply priceless

My view:

Kian - Nice if boring chap - won't make much difference to him - but there is a vacancy going on X-Factor and he's more than equipped to do the job
David - Goodfella but I don't see the rebound from this lasting more than a year
Matthew - Won't make a jot of difference - his fans (of which I am one) will still love him and those that hated him will still hate him - but he accomplished what he wanted to. Anyone who has seen the bollocks Madeley made while filling in for him on his TWS show will see what a bloody EXCELLENT job Matthew makes of what looks like an easy job!
Amy - Will end up a WAG (One can only hope that whatever footballer it is - he drops from Premiership to former Conference League in quick time - then see how long she sticks around) Other than that - Claire Sweeney looks a bit bored of 60 Minute Makeover so there's probably a job going there!
Annabelle - A few stints on Loose Women at best
Lucy - She has her rather lucrative day job which I can't see her losing any time soon - good on her
Joey - Cannot believe how much I like this fella. Hoping Iceland decide to have a 'Lad's gone to Iceland' campaign - I think he may be around for at least a couple of more years
Mo - No comment - no change - not sure I like the woman
Alfonzo - After a very slow start - he started to impress me. I can see him popping up on Matt's show in the next few months - I also suspect - like most US and Australian stars - he'll appear in (and will enjoy) the pantomime season - and why not?
Steve - I always suspected he was a bit of a rough diamond (have seen some of the charity events he's done in my area in the North West - hangs around for much longer than he has to to sign autographs and chat to youngsters) he went in there for much the same reason as Matthew and he got what he wanted from it
Vincent - No idea - I'm still not sure I like the fella - but he has his dancing!
Rebecca - Nice girl - would be good to see her as a captain on A Question of Sport. Hope the jungle has gone some way to improve her self-confidence and hopefully not destroyed her faith in other ways

Models nearly always benefit from rtv shows, since there they are, a model, only more famous than they were before. And Joey seems at present to be happy to play couples in the hope of getting pa's with Amy.

Laila, Vincent, Matt and Lucy are presumably happy where they are now.

The three with most to gain are Rebecca, David and Annabel since none of them has any regular media work and they would obviously like some. I should think Rebecca is in the strongest position since she has such an obvious area of expertise, and there is such a lot of sports broadcasting. But David also has an area of expertise, and did appeal to viewers, so he has a good shot as well. Annabel - well, I would like to see her get something. She is well spoken, articulate and good looking. But very sadly, her age is against her. Female broadcasters tend to be put out to grass when they are about 40, as we all know.

I do wonder if what Alfonso gains will in the end be worth missing his son's very early weeks . From 3 weeks to 6 weeks babies make huge steps and its a huge loss to miss that
