Yes she did. She's on a talk show in based Los Angeles called The Talk. She has to commute back and forth each week from London To LA where she lives. The American channel the show is on CBS agreed to her having Mondays and Fridays off from the show to fly back to the UK so she could do X Factor on the basis it was just for a year.

Thanks for your reply

I actually think that it will be a shame to see her go as she livens up the show.

I hope they can persuade her to come back as she's really livened it up this year.

Louis, Sharon, Cheryl and Simon could really work next year.

I hope she comes back. Would love to see her on the panel with Simon again.

Her comments this year have actually been pretty spot on and she's voted well in all the sing-offs.

The deal was that she gets paid a lot, comes back for one year only and she wins. She knows how the show works and I am sure she stipulated that she would be given the winner's category.

I wish she was staying for next year too as I think she is infinitely entertaining and watchable. Car crash tv at its finest.

I agree. She is there to win as shes never done it and then she wants to leave. She probably knows she will win also. Everybody seems to be backing Sam.

Because she was supposed to help to bring success to X Factor and failed miserably.

I've enjoyed Sharon's participation this year and am particularly happy she was able to cause Luke's addition to the final. Good luck to her.

Tamera was the favourite, so Sharon was not given the winner's category.

Not by me.

Harping on about a contestant's age does not make her a good judge.

She is also a crap mentor who having lost two acts in the first two weeks was lucky enough to be left with the best contestant in the show.

Not a fan of Sharon, but credit where it is due. She has actually done a good job with Sam B. I think she only returned for this season, because she wanted to be the winning mentor for a change and there is a strong chance of this happening.

How has she done a good job with Sam ? What does she know about singing ? When did she become a vocal coach ?

In any case, she spends most of her time in the USA

It's a shame, Sharon is the best judge on X factor, and certainly the funniest.

Considering it's highly likely Sam will win, I guess she'll have fulfilled her goal of finally being the winning mentor.

Makes no difference about her losing two acts early in the competition, she is still left with one and is in with a chance of being the winning judge.

End of subject.
