New house external wiring question.
I have bought a new build house and outside the house is a black cable coming up from the ground and there is another cable coming through the wall from inside the house. The other houses on the estate have a box fitted and the two cable are joined in this box. My question is, does this cable bring in both telephone and broadband? and can i get anyone to do the fitting of the box, or is it fixed to BT?

Probably just BT openreach
It's likely to just be copper cable for phone and ADSL. |

Place an order with your provider of choice and the order will be passed to Openreach to connect you up. If the little box still isn't done when the guy turns up to install your line he will fit one (if he has one on his van) if not he will return the job for that to be done for you. |
