What a fantastic prize! Beyonce will make a special announcement at the final tonight via video link!

We just supersized our prize. Winner also gets to join Beyoncé in the UK leg of her world tour @Beyonce. #xfactor @TheXFactor #beyonce

It is obvious they thought Tamera was going to win

Great prize but they must have paid her to get her to agree to this!

So Tamera was the chosen one when this was booked, with SamBa as the only back-up? lol

Alexandra would have been good with this.

But surely no one even knew about Beyonce's whole tour and new album back when the live shows started?

Maybe TPTB did and were given a gag order until now?

Beyonce was always for touring the UK even before the announcement of the new album. X Factor is run by SONY so obviously they knew she was touring and when. Im not sure how Beyonce's audience would feel though if Nicholas McDonald walked out singing Flying without Wings LOL

Best bet for Beyonces fans would probably be Sam B. Or Luke.

Sam B has huge vocals and can put on a show.
Luke is a little unique.

Feels very last minute, wonder if they will put Tamera on this tour as well along with whoever wins

Seems pretty much Tamera was the chosen one

*dons tin hat ready for her supporters to come flying in*

Imagine Nicholas supporting Beyonce...

No need for anyone to arrive early for Beyonce's shows then

As D Morgan says, imagine everyone's reaction if Nicholas wins

How odd. None of the finalists really fit with Beyonces demographic.

I would have thought sticking SuBo and ScrewBo together would have been much more realistic. ScrewBo can handle all the speaking bits that SuBo finds hard.

Just think, you have paid £100 for a ticket and on comes either a cruise ship/working mens club pub type singer, an out of tune shouter or a "look at me I'm only 17" warbler - christ on a bike, I would want my money back

If you like cruise ship lounges that is.....

Sorry to be pedantic, but you can't be a "little unique". Some one is either "unique" or not

This would've been perfect for Rough Copy or Hannah, they would've livened the crowd up before Beyonce came on.

Tamera would feel a bit too similar to Beyonce but she'd still be a good choice.

What a great carrot! Should provide quite a battle tonight. Now they all will want to win.

BIB - Actually, I'd take that over the others. People who have worked the pub/club/cruise ship circuit tend to have the performing experience, stagecraft, physical stamina and overall confidence to put on a good show. Idiots like Simon Cowell slag off singers who've actually put in the groundwork and are capable of connecting with an audience. I suspect, because people like that are more likely to know their own minds and their capabilities, and aren't as easily manipulated as teenagers whose experience of performing amounts to posting a few vids on youtube.

Beyoncé ticket sales plummet as this year's X Factor winner is announced as her tour support

They've probably done this in conjunction with Carling or some other drink brand as the bars are going to be full during the support slot.

Off course they thought Tamera was going to win! Every record executive knows she is the real star!

I know I shouldn't laugh, but this line from that article tickled my sense of humour:

Quote:
“The three possibilities for Beyoncé's tour support are: Sam Bailey, a 35-year-old Celine Dion impersonator; Luke Friend, a hairy teenager who shouts at microphones; and Nicholas McDonald, an actual foetus.”

Cruel, but funny!

Now I want Nicholas to win just to see Beyonce's face

Give her a few years to sort a few things out, there is room for improvement - she'll probably the one who will benefit the most out of this year's XF despite what some of her critics on this forum say about her

One of these 3 would have been a better support act for Beyonce but I think I would go for RC

Sam bailey coming out singing "Enough is Enough" getting the crowd all pumped up for beyonce. I could see this happening.
