The Doomsday that Almost Was: How are you coping one year on?

As i'm sure you're all aware, this time last year Christopher Maloney was potentially just one day away from securing The X Factor crown, an event that would certainly have resulted in the apocalypse.

Of course, national tensions were at an all time high as we were unsure if we would be able to outvote the swarms of hypnotised Nans up and down the country. Thankfully Lucifer was defeated, placing third overall and the world went on to live another day. After Lucifer's defeat the Nans snapped out of their hypnosis, and James and Jahmene were swiftly knighted by Her Majesty for their contributions to humanity.

It all turned out well. But still, it was a hard time for all of us, and personally i'm still having nightmares and waking up in a cold sweat. How are you coping one year on?

I really wish he had won the XFactor. It would've truly killed off the show just like how Michelle McManus winning pretty much ended any future for Pop Idol. The producers did very well to sabotage his voting figures by leaking information about his private life. If they hadn't leaked information about his private life [such as the alleged incident with his former work colleague] he would've continued to top the vote and won the whole thing.

I never had the almost-psychotic amount of hate towards him like some on here.
