Help what are my options?
Hi All,
PLEASE HELP? I'm after replacing my 26" Samsung in the concervatory for a larger screen, after moving my xbox360 into the lounge last week and the results where amazing, but the wife won't let the console stay in their as interferes with the rest of the family, Things to concider- It's going in concervatory, so natural light I'm also going to hook it up to my PC Its mainly going to be used for xbox, hopefully one at Xmas. Would 3D be a benifit for gaming? Going to be sat about 4m away? Options I've seen LG42LN575V 429 LG series 62 42LA620V at £529 PANASONIC VIERA TXL42E6B at £550 but read a review about motion blur? What eles should I concider? Should I look at 47" but choose other models? I've only ever had plasma before and found others blur with fast images is this still the case with LEDs? But then think LEDs are brighter which may be better for concervatory? Any surgestions would be really helpful, pleaseeeeeeeee! |

Plasma isn't good for gaming, as it's prone to screen burn - and also no good in a bright environment.
But as you're viewing from 4m away you really need a pretty big set to get any HD advantage - can you play from closer? (4 to 6 FEET for a 42 would be a lot better). |

Panasonic and Sony are the top two makes, LG and Samsung are 'middling' makes.
So from the options you've given I would suggest the Panasonic. |
