Google updated their maps app on Wednesday.

Has the street view option disappeared or am I being totally stupid?

It’s still there but hidden a little bit but it’s something you get used to when they insist on changing things for the sake of changing things.

Zoom into the place you want to view, touch and hold the spot you want to view and a pin will drop and an address window will open. Touch the address window and an option for street view will appear.

It's not very intuitive but

Drop a pin
Then in the top left where the box shows up saying 'dropped pin' and info about the location of it, tap that box
You'll then get another screen with a small map and share options and the street view is in there.

Very poorly designed.
