Could you imagine the looks on the faces of Sharon, Phil, Kat & Alfie is she walked out and it was her. Tracy Ann Obermann has said she would have loved to return if she had been asked. A character that made a huge impact in a short time on the show.

And then what?

That's the problem with these types of returns, it makes a great first scene as you say to see the looks on some people's faces but where the hell can they go with it? Not far.

Maybe they could give her a new storyline to be introduced back. She has done her time in prison and has remarried and they could introduce her new husband.

I don't think she's needed at present. I also cannot see why Chrissie would want to return, or even to get revenge. I mean she was the one who did wrong, she knows that

I hate these sort of returns in a way though, why would you want to return to the place where you killed your husband, especially with no family or ties there?

This.

Chrissie is adored by many EastEnders fans, but the casual viewer will more than likely not even remember her. She was only in the show for 18 months and left almost a decade ago.

In 8 years, she's served time in prison for murder and been out long enough to find a new husband and decide to move back to the place she killed her ex husband to terrorise his daughter?

Sounds awful to be honest.

Chrissie's character wouldn't return anyway. She wasn't like that, she accepted what she did and wouldn't want to come back.

I don't think there would be anywhere for Chrissie to go storyline-wise if she returned.

I don't think they'd remember off the top of their head, but if she returned of course they'd remember her when they see her.

Like Angie, she's not been seen since 1988 but people will remember her.

Why would she want to return? The only person in the show that she would have any sort of "relationship" is her stepdaughter whose father she murdered and then tried to blame Zoe and Sam. Can't really imagine Sharon, Kat or Phil would be pleased to see her.

Dtc won't be bringing characters back for the sake of it. She should only return for a reason and there's none at present

He goes a lovely shade of red when he's angry!

Yes Alfie got away very lightly I feel. So his banger which cost about £50 was sent for scrap. Well Lexie or Amy could have been hurt by him throwing his bust around.
