Brilliant, cheers!

PSN - TommyNooka79

I'll have a search tonight (after the PSN down time).

Only problem with this is I will now know exactly how rubbish I am!
1) it doesn't take long to get to grips with the game. You'll be a pro in no time.

2) a good few people have joined since Xmas so you're not on your own.

3) there's plenty of us who have been playing for months that are still rubbish.

Actually Tag, I think he was talking about himself there, in an unusually self-deprecating manner.

I kinda was talking about myself. I like to talk myself up but my results tell a different story

I'm hopeless with wet laps and pitch black laps 😭 Could someone please help me out by doing the Venom Hotlap 2 for me via Shareplay?? I can't get within 10 seconds of the 1 star time & I know I'll never be able to get any where near the 3. There's a couple of DLC events I need one or two stars on but I've only gave them a couple of shots & think I'll manage them but Venom 2 will end up with me smashing a controller or two!!

I can do it for you if you want? I'll be going on the PS4 in a mo. I've never actually tried the Shareplay feature yet - mainly because with 7 down and 1 up I don't think I'd be able to host, but I don't think it'd affect me playing someone else's too much.

Driveclub was the UK's best selling exclusive game for 2014.

Quite an achievement.

Sorry Lisa, just seen this. I was playing Driveclub and managed to get one star then went to tackle the final Elements tour tournament so didn't notice you were signed in. I have fibre 76/20 so should be able to share no problem

I've left my game paused too as I'm away to get my wife from work & didn't want to switch off as I'm on the final lap of the final race, in first place & I need to hold that position for another 48 seconds. Didn't want to quit or switch off as I'd lose my progress and it's been a very tough tournament! lol

Those are 2 things Sony need to fix: notifications when certain people sign in & the pause/resume function

On the main menu screen you'll see Club in the top right corner. Go in there and you can seach through lists and recommended clubs or you can enter a club name if you know what you're looking for. We have ~6 Digital Spy clubs. Take a look at them if you fancy, and there might be space in some.
Bear in mind that some cars are only accessible when you've reached a certain club level so you kind of have to join one if you want everything unlocked.

If you'd like to join in our challenges you'll have to share your PSN as we can then send you invites when you're on our friends list.
There's also a space in my club 'DAgnasti' which I keep plugging in here but no one ever joins. I'll keep plugging away in the hope someone joins it eventually anyway.

Did I mention there's a space win my club 'DAgnasti'?

Ah ok. Well I've left mine running while normal telly is on, so give me a shout whenever you're ready. That last race of the elements tour is a right bitch!

Elements of this game's AI remind of the rage that both SuperMarioKart and MarioKart64 used to induce in me,

It's addictive though.

I managed to beat it in the end and come first overall in the tournament but that last race in the Elements tour was definitely the toughest race yet. For the last 2 laps, you can hardly see because of the blizzard and the pitch black night. You need to be aggressive so you can stay on the road and let a car or two in front so you can see them turning.

Looks amazing though 😎 http://youtu.be/I9Cxz7Y4RLo

Great to see Driveclub be the no 1 exclusive title for 2014, it's also surprising due to the terrible issues on release plus average reviews from critics, for me this game is a solid 8/10 since issues have been fixed, it's a more enjoyable game than Forza Horizon 2, fingers up to forza hee hee

Tempted for the season pass, is it worth getting?

Agreed, that looks superb.

Hellstorm is up for the next challenge, if not then it's Yuffie.

I think reviews are getting less and less relavent - there are examples in this very thread where people weren't interested in the game after the press had their say, but came round after hearing what buyers of the game had to say.

The game was bundled heavily, which must have helped especially with the Bkack Friday boost, but so were other games such as The Last Of Us Remastered, Sunset Overdrive and Halo MCC. Even since then, it's sold really well, beaten only by Fifa 15 and COD:AW just before Christmas.

If you're enjoying the game then I'd say the season pass is a good way of extending it.

It was also very reasonably priced from the off. It's was €40 (£30 or £35) from launch digitally which is half the price of other AAA games digitally. And it came down to twenty something pounds on Amazon fairly quickly.

For those reasons I'm glad it's the top selling exclusive as those are the kind of savings I like.

The sales chart didn't include the cheap PSN download, just retail copies.

Oh that's still impressive. So does vgchartz only count the physical copies sold then too ??

I've just took the plunge - that £19.99 is a good price - add me: Echo12008 for on line please. How good is the single-player in this game?

I'm not quite sure how VGChartz do their numbers, but their accuracy has been questioned a number of times.

This data came via MCV, courtesy of Chrtt-track and UKiE and are official numbers.

I have heard that VGChartz isn't that accurate but we don't really have much else to go on sometimes.

Frig it. I'm going for it.

New Challenge

We going to Scotland, to Wester Ross Reverse (GoT reference ?), in the Audi RS 5 Coupe (player level 7 car) and we'll be doing a little bit of drifting. We'll start a six o clock in the evening, with a time lapse of x 60, with a stormy cloud cover and heavy precipitation. It's a long track with plenty of corner and speed scoring opportunities. There's a base score set of 14,720.
You have three days to set your best time, ending at roughly half nine on Monday night. If you didn't receive an invitation and would like one, add me: Little_Ifrit Be sure to mention Digital Spy in the friend request comment.

Happy drifting
