All the corners can be tough in their own way. There's 3 or 4 corners which you can take flat out but it's also very easy to clip the wall. My best theoretical lap is about half a second ahead of Ian, but I can't pull it together for one Super lap.

Remember they're all 3 day challenges. I'm not putting in the dates as we don't seem to stick to them.

I will take part in any challenges I am eligible for but I don't know any of the tracks or cars yet really to start setting challenges yet.

I think I need to do more levelling up and learning the tracks and cars before I take any challenges too seriously though.

I got up to 7th place on the Lotus challenge I got sent yesterday which I don't think is too bad for starters. I got sent a couple of other challenges but I don't have the cars open yet to try those out.

I wouldn't worry too much. I still couldn't visualise a track by name. Usually a few laps and you start learning some corners

I really hope the MyDriveclub app launches soon. It's a bit painful having to boot up the ps4, and then the game and go through the menus just to see how a challenge is going.

Surely with everything working smoothly in game (except some ghosts) it can't be too far away.

Replays would be nice too, had a few, "what the flip?" moments, and they are just gone....

Turned this game on at 6.15 tonight to look at challenge (that 1:17 just seems impossible!) and then 1.3/4 hours later I realise I've not actually moved off the sofa, oops.

I reckon a 1:16 is possible but damn you need a perfect lap and there are quite a few areas on the track where you can lose valuable tenths of a second if you brake or turn at the wrong split second.

It's a really good track. Good challenge Ian.

Oh and as for the replays, you can always save the video if you wanted to.

1:16.667! Still more time in this track as well. Glad you're enjoying it Yuffie. I enjoy the other challenges, except blooming drifting grrr! But love a time trial on a circuit so I can just drive round and round and round trying to find that elusive .5 of a second to beat the player in front of me.

Really hope the new guys are enjoying this, and don't forget, we've been playing this solid since release and have all seen our times get better with each challenge

Wow, nice time. I'm not sure I can get any better than 1:17:1xx. But I'll see tomorrow.

I like how the leaderboard shows how many attempts we have done, and it's proper for this one. Unlike the ones where we could keep restarting.

Have u just beat that lisa?

I was pretty happy getting into 1:18s but think I could maybe just scrape into 1:17s if I can get on tomorrow.

1:16.468. I think a 1:15.XXX is doable with an insane level of perfection.

My goal is to beat your times but I'm struggling to get anywhere near on that track. How did you manage a 1:18? Lots of practice beforehand? I'm still getting to grips with the handling tbh.

How are your times so fast? Do you use a wheel?

What do you mean beforehand this is a new track.

I think its tips from lisa and ian we need, not me lol.

Only thing id say is in general. If you can get racing lines correct then green corners can be taken flat out, yellow by lifting off accelerator and red you need to brake before and shed a good bit of speed. Sometimes slower is quicker on corners. Drifting is rarely quicker and generally the more screeching from tyres the slower you'll be.

Lisa is always fast. She simply knows how to drive racing lines. What speed and angles to take corners. It makes such a difference especially with a lot of corners together as if you also get your exit right, you're in good shape for your next corner.

Couldn't have put any better myself! Try and follow the ghosts of the leading car to get an idea of the racing lines used, you'll then get a feel of the track.

The more you play, the better you get as you'll learn techniques for controlling the different cars (sometimes!) and the tracks. Our challenges are especially useful as what you learn there can easily be used against multiplayer or similar challenges, meaning more points!

Don't expect to win every challenge, but aim to progress up the ranks and you'll be doing well. There are some excellent racers in our group, some of the best I've ever come up against so don't be disheartened!
