If you can get racing lines correct then green corners can be taken flat out, yellow by lifting off accelerator and red you need to brake before and shed a good bit of speed. Sometimes slower is quicker on corners. Drifting is rarely quicker and generally the more screeching from tyres the slower you'll be.”
Couldn't have put any better myself! Try and follow the ghosts of the leading car to get an idea of the racing lines used, you'll then get a feel of the track.
The more you play, the better you get as you'll learn techniques for controlling the different cars (sometimes!) and the tracks. Our challenges are especially useful as what you learn there can easily be used against multiplayer or similar challenges, meaning more points!
Don't expect to win every challenge, but aim to progress up the ranks and you'll be doing well. There are some excellent racers in our group, some of the best I've ever come up against so don't be disheartened!
