My times suck but the new challenge is great little number. Short, sharp and finally in a vehicle I can control, the Clio. Nice one

I seem to have serious issues with the challenges, you guys seem to pull 2/3 seconds from nowhere everytime so I just give up and go back to beating some SP events or go MP racing.
![]() I know I'm not terrible because I have some pretty respectable global times in tour events but for some reason I am left in the dust in the challenges. Still give them a go but I struggle to motivate myself. |

If you only do 3 or 4 tries you'd need to be pretty lucky to set your best possible time in one of those goes. Unless your name is Lisa of course. |

Simply put, you need to persevere - quite a few of us take many attempts to try and get a better time / beat a particular person ( you know who you are
). So we learn where to improve and then set a good time. If you only do 3 or 4 tries you'd need to be pretty lucky to set your best possible time in one of those goes. Unless your name is Lisa of course. I hope you keep on trying and it just clicks for you, it did for me following Lisa's ghost to learn the best driving lines!! |

I'm assuming you mean me!! Lol. Claymore is right, it's mainly due to practice. Lisa is a very talented racer, however you don't get so high in the rankings without spending time learning circuits, car characteristics etc. if you feel that is a real grind to keep trying to beat times them the challenges may not be for you, each to their own I say. Personally I really enjoy the challenge of trying to beat people on here as we have a very good set of drivers taking part in our challenges!
I hope you keep on trying and it just clicks for you, it did for me following Lisa's ghost to learn the best driving lines!! Apologies for not taking you up on the time trial invite yesterday, didn't notice it until it was too late. was flitting between preparing Sunday dinner and 10 minutes on DC.

I just think it's a lack of focus/attention span, I'm consistently competitive in the Tour events (even beating Lisas time on one or two) because there is obviously less time being spent on them by everyone. I think I bore easily when I'm not improving so I feel like I could be doing/playing something else. It may have something to do with the limited time available to me for gaming these days, still manage to get plenty of hours in though, i'm about to hit the Lvl 50 mark.

What I'm mostly looking forward to, (hopefully also next update) is the new ranks, surely I'll be right near the new max? They need more accolades as well and extra levels, now that there's Japan they could put in the locations accolades and all the new manufacturers we've had.

I know what you mean, I've only in the last day or so made a start on Far Cry 4 and I've had that since Christmas!

My aim is probably top 10 now. Unless there are more than 9 other racers, then I reserve the right to move further down the table.

Was anyone actually still holding out hope for it to come on PS+? I moved on from thinking that a while ago. Quote:

It'll be a disgrace and they should be embarrassed if they don't bring it to plus in some guise, whether cut down as original or the full thing.

From my view though, I'd rather they 'complete' my experience rather than give everyone a taster, so if it's a choice I'd rather have the myDrive App. (or whatever it's called). Besides, given that you could pick it up for £18 recently (digitally), surely most people that were remotely interested would have picked up the full game already? I'm not trying to excuse the fact it's not on plus yet, just that anyone that doesn't have it already can't be overly interested so would only be adding load to the servers to see what it was like, to the detriment of those that love the game - i.e. us. So while Sony failing to deliver on one of their earliest promises is extremely bad, if they can't deliver it without affecting my current experience, I'd really rather they didn't. (and yes, I realise that is a selfish viewpoint) |

But, cancelling it completely would be a disaster, especially after all the PR victories they've had over Xbox in recent years. If they've got any sense they'll release an offline version for the PS+ crowd to try. I know that the social aspect of Driveclub was (supposed to be) its USP but at least they'll be delivering on their promise to give the game out for free in some form or another. |

» Server upgrades: to improve stability and performance for all current players and to enable the release of the PS+ Edition and Driveclub companion app. Funny only one comment was deemed news worthy by the 'negative stories only' gaming media. |

Shame, personally I think it's a little late for ps+ edition, sure people will still get a chance to try out this game but it can be purchased cheap now anyway, and it's worth it.
Sony should just scrap the whole deal and give us the order 1886
