Imagine fastest laps in those Fiat 500s.

I can't beat my lap in current challenge. One lap I beat lisa through the first 3 corners only for her to pass me on the hill bend. It's like my car needs to change down a gear.

She is just very good at picking a line that lets her maintain a higher speed, meaning she can get up to higher speeds quicker than the rest of us on the following straight.

That's my theory anyway!

And as for the fast cars, I don't like them all the time, but I love the sense of speed that they give, it's awesome.

I don't know how Lisa manages to carry so much speed through the corners, I try taking the same lines but she just seems to carry a huge amount of speed I just can't seem to.

On the next challenge can someone let her tyres down so I might stand a small chance of beating her.

Well I'm picking the next one so its a drift challenge .... tho Lisa is just as good at that as she is at racing.

Just had a wee go on multi player there and was up against a couple of koeniggsegg ones, must have been US players. One guy won the race the other finished 3rd by bashing his way round they track, totally overpowering the zonda r on the straights and just arse-ending anyone in front.
Looking forward to getting a blast at one tomorrow!

Just managed to get a few laps on the challenge before it finished. Did it after being in the pub for a few hours watching the footie. Could have been a bit bleary-eyed but I think I ended on 1.46.xxx and was only 4 seconds behind Lisa (my closest gap to the leader so far). Maybe it was the car or maybe I drive better drunk?

It was my cryptic way of saying we seem to be stuck at Kobago - 3 challenges in a row, all at the same circuit.

Whereas I'm looking forward to setting something ... a wee bit different.

I wasn't complaining btw, just thought it was funny that we've got 3 events in a row at the same track.

Looking forward to getting pipped by E5 at the last moment again. (Actually, probably not, I'm rubbish at drifting, I'll be well down the table on this one).

Completed the Downforce pack and halfway through the Midnight one. I hope whoever bought the Koenigsegg One:1 in real life was offered an optional extra of a clean pair of pants, never at any point, even in a straight line, do you feel like you're in control. Then to top it off they dump you on a sodding wet SKN track, so it's basically like driving on glass!

That Dusk 'Til Dawn event is going to hack me off in the Midnight pack. 13 laps and you have to beat 9 face offs set by DC, I was on the last lap of the whole thing with 1 face off left to do and I stuffed it up on the last corner. So that means I'm going to have to do it again to get that star and then yet another go at it, because there's no way to be in the top 3 and concentrate on the face offs within the same attempt.

Just something to note if you're upgrading your HD (I did over the weekend to 2TB), you seem to lose all the stars you've gained in the addon packs (main tour is intact). I don't know if it was just me (I uploaded my saves to the cloud before, downloaded after) or a 'thing'. I haven't touched the extra packs much yet so wasn't too fussed, but would imagine if you'd done a load of these it would be quite annoying!

Ah I'll give it a good blast tomorrow evening.

I was trying to get as low of a score as possible. It's really hard.

Was gonna say, that's actually kind of impressive getting that low a score on a drift event

Not going to bother with the midnight DLC. The dark races are just far too dark & I can't make anything out & I'm not ****ing about with TV settings just to play a game

Both packs done. The new Koenigsegg isn't that bad once you get to grips with it, especially when you go back on the old stuff and absolutely thrash your old times.
