Don't know if it's just me or drift challenges go like:
First go; fluke a reasonable score Next 10 mins failing to beat that score. Finally set better time Next 15 mins utterly failing to get near it Give up Next day 2nd go set a score 15% better than yesterdays Then spend 30 mins getting scores almost exactly the same, never better. Give up In this challenge I can see how 9k is possible, although doing it is another matter. I think you need to be 70+ mph coming out of the first drift, and drift all around the 2nd without turning back on yourself and biffing the wall (as ifrits current ghost does). I spend ages today getting the first half done right, but then have repeated brain failure on the last corner and lose 500+ every-time, argh! |

Was having a go before and it does seem the more goes you have the worse you get sometimes.

Was determined to try and beat you Yuffie, but have given up now. Saying that, my scores on the 2nd and 4th corners are very beatable. You should be able to make up points on those. |

Dunno. It was lucky really. The guys who were watching will confirm that most of the time I didn't get anywhere near 1000 on the last corner most of the time. Although I rarely get to the last corner before I rage restarted every lap.
Saying that, my scores on the 2nd and 4th corners are very beatable. You should be able to make up points on those. Well happy with my score so just going to leave it as is. |

I wish that you could pick which ghosts appear or could watch someone else's replays like in Trials Fusion, would help in the drift tours a lot.

I'm getting Trials Fusion flashbacks by the fact that Yuffie and Claymore are beating me.

Lol, I've recorded 85 attempts!
Ah well, I've got a spare half hour, may as well take it up to the 100

30 points...30 measly points.
![]() 100 attempts! Not doing any more. If I could've scored the same as Yuffie on the last corner I'd have been in the 9,000s. ![]() ![]()

Well this is probably going to be my worst result ever? I find drifting annoyingly tedious anyway, even though I'm still fairly decent at it (I did win the last drift challenge after all!), but with the slow cars it's even worse as it's harder to find that rhythm of what works and what doesn't.
