30 points...30 measly points.

100 attempts! Not doing any more. If I could've scored the same as Yuffie on the last corner I'd have been in the 9,000s.
30 points behind me ??? Niiicceee !! Just as well I improved my time yesterday. Did my streaming help you any bit ?

I'll pick a drift event when it's my turn as I've enjoyed this one. Definitely given up trying to beat my score though.

I liked the challenge just wish i'd been able to do it before today i found some extra points in some of the corners but couldn't string it all together so i'm annoyed with myself this time.

It did help actually. It pretty much confirmed what I was doing was ok, I just needed a bit more speed into the second drift, then it clicked.

Interestingly, we had completely different lines around the third drift. We pretty much scored the same, though based on what I watched last night I tended to get a higher score more often than you. (1560 was my highest on it).

I just couldn't score well on the last corner (838 on my best score).

Still, I'd have felt a wee bit guilty if I'd won after picking up a few tips from you, so I'm happy with 2nd. Well done on your win. ( Ian, the challenge has finished now, so you can set yours anytime).

Oh you shouldnt feel guilty. I posted the stream wanting people to watch it and hopefully get a few tips, even if that meant my arch-nemesis gaining a few places. Well done on 2nd, I havent seen the results yet so I'm interested where everyone placed. Even tho I was hoping to gain a few places on you, as you've opened quite the gap between us.

Only a second behind Lisa but still feels about five. Just can't keep up on those last few corners.

The first corner is what throws me off, I skid far too much. I'm a big 3 seconds off Lisa atm. Good to have a challenge to work at though.

Yeah, back to normal on this challenge: I set a time that is about 1 second behind Lisa, spend the next 24 hours improving it slightly so that I just start to think I'm in with a chance, only for Lisa to improve by 5 seconds with 1 hour to go.

It's almost like she's taunting us! ( all in good fun of course )

Was playing tour a bit earlier, happened to be the Taapaca Run in semi-pro. Had a few goes, did under the time needed for 3 stars (which is 3:50), looked at global leaderboard and the top 50 are all under 2.30, leader being 2.08, in not particularly great cars, surely they must have glitched this somehow?

There were some gremlins when the game was first out where it would save a first sector or first 2 sectors as the time for a whole event. It's still a problem that's notorious on the multi-race tour events leaderboards. If you leave the game paused long enough it'll save some blatantly impossible time for the event.

Cool, cheers.

That's roughly when my challenge finished so if he started his straight away then that makes sense.
