Trawling DC's twitter. Along with offline replays, this months update will include the new update to drifting scoring and a special reward for players at (or who eventually reach) level 50. Online replays and most importantly, the lobbies and more accolades are still in soon/future update phase.

Update 1.12 Add-ons (coming to PlayStation®Store March 24-26): » Adds support for the Peugeot Onyx Concept, coming to PlayStation®Store as a free download. » Adds support for the Lamborghini Expansion Pack, coming to PlayStation®Store as a premium/Season Pass add-on. » The Lamborghini Car Pack includes: Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario, Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4, Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse and Lamborghini Veneno. » The Lamborghini Tour Pack includes 10 new Events and 5 new Trophies. » Adds support for the Pacesetter Tour Pack, coming to PlayStation®Store as a premium/Season Pass add-on. » The Pacesetter Tour Pack includes 12 new Events and 5 new Trophies. » Adds support for 2 new livery packs, coming to PlayStation®Store as a premium/Season Pass add-on. Each Livery Pack contains 5 new livery patterns to customise your cars with. Important developments to be aware of (coming after 1.12): » Continual server upgrades: to keep improving online stability and performance for all current players and to enable the release of the PS+ Edition and DRIVECLUB companion app. » Private lobbies: Development of Private Lobbies for Multiplayer is ongoing alongside development of server improvements. » Replays for Multiplayer races: these require further development and testing and will come in a future game update. » Lots more cars: We're only half way through the Season Pass that runs to July and we have many more commonly requested cars and manufacturers coming to DRIVECLUB! » New ranks: because many of you are at Level 50 already. In the mean time, please enjoy exclusive access to the Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione as a reward for your dedication and success. » Additional audio options for cockpit camera. » Lots more! So definitely no advantage in bouncing off the track anymore. And nice to have replays but I'd like to be able to view other people's as well.

I can't tell you how excited replays arriving will make me, suffice to say that it will probably require a change of clothing.
On another note, how do people feel about extending the challenge durations to 5 days instead of 3. I keep getting caught out either not being able to find the time to have a second bash at improving a time/drift or missing challenges completely. |

I've already got the Evoluzione 599XX, I can't remember when or how it unlocked but it's definitely there, was it part of the season pass before?
If so then they should come up with an idea that benefits everyone, would be nice if they thought about those that have supported the game too. |

I was actually going to suggest that if a challenge is set the same day the previous one finishes, that it's set for 4 days instead of 3, as I tend to miss the first day when this happens. But if everyone wants to make it a blanket 5 days that's fine with me. Has anyone messaged jaffa-mad to see if he's going to set a challenge, or should we move on ? |

Replays yay! Drifting being changed to benefit keeping the car going forwards (again?), yay! Will they reset the leaderboards? Same question for wall bouncing, some records will never be broken without abusing the track limits I think. |

Well if no one objects then we can make the challenges 5 days, but we could start from the next championship as we're near the end of this one.
I look forward to the changes in drifting but I'm a bit skeptical as I have the current method nailed down. I'll give Jaffa a buzz to let him know he's up. |

It's nice to see that Sony are still seemingly going all out with their daddy of a racing game (well until GT7 comes out)

Driveclub is a game of the modern era; connected, social, episodic, progressive. As much as the enhanced graphics, it's what the new generation is about. Problem is, it started life as a bare bones release which was reflected in its poor review scores. One could argue games such as Driveclub should be reassessed and even re-reviewed over time, because the product we have now is a very different beast to the one released last year. |

Very true FF. I was thinking the same thing. The low review scores are not right when you look at what we have now.
Ok I've had no word back from Jaffa so we'll move onto slw for the next challenge. What ya got for us ? |

Does dc have the eiger track that was in gt5 or a similar one? I thought it did but couldn't see it last night. I must be imagining things.
The replay looks good. I like the trackside view. |

This is a great game but it's rubbish at updating your times and ghosts.

Such a close challenge at the mo. No doubt there'll be another 2 seconds or so shaved off by the time it's over though.

In some sort of groundhog day loop, where if I *don't* mess up the first chicane I will arrive at the left hander with more speed than normal, and brake too late for it...

slw forgot to make the challenge private, so I've forwarded it on to the people missed off the list, but I think this will have to be another results taken from the my friends list once all the none DS affiliated randoms catch wind and invade the challenge.

This challenge is driving me nuts. Spend ages not getting anywhere, then all of a sudden manage a few good laps, then get one great lap, only to stuff it on the last corner. Extremely annoying. And tbh, I really wouldn't be caring that much, if it wasn't for the person currently ahead of me in second. ![]() This is probably going to be my most attempts ever. |
