The replays really need more control over which cameras you use during the replay so you can stay on certain cameras longer and have less inside the car views. Also some sort of graphical overlay options like the F1 has to show times and split times would really add to replay and make the worth saving on a good lap time.
But for now they look great and are a nice addition to the game.

Agree with all of this. Replays look great, I love the overhead view, but I would like a bit more control over what camera is used when. The distance shots from the trackside cameras look epic.
They're definately not useful for learning tracks though. I think the ability to select which ghosts to race against is really needed for that. (I know, some people are never happy!)
Not sure about the drift changes, I certainly don't seem to be scoring any better. If anything, I'm even worse. For comparison I tried the Kobago drift that we did in our challenges, and couldn't get within 2000 points of the previous score I set. Hopefully it'll just take a bit of getting used to.
And congrats to DS3 on reaching level 50.

Evolution have seen a number redundancies at the studio.
Statement from Sony reads-
Evolution Studios will now focus on DriveClub as a service going forward, in particular, the important launch of the PS Plus Edition. We will be restructuring Evolution Studios to ensure that SCE WWS and in particular, Evolution Studios are in the best position to achieve these goals.
Our first party development studios are key to our creative strategy and we are very excited about the future projects being worked on and the role Evolution Studios will play.
Obviously bad news for the staff involved and perhaps also for those of us hankering for a new-gen Motorstorm.
But it is confirmation that the PS+ version is still coming and, more interestingly tlhere's the suggestion that Driveclub will be a continuing running "service". Guess that could mean there's more content to come for fans of the game.

Over 3000 on the last corner?!?! The best I've managed is over 1900, so frustrating when I go into that section several hundred ahead, but haven't figured out whatever special technique is being deployed on that corner yet. Clearly it involves drifting super early, it's just figuring out the right spot.

Yep. Did it by mistake first time, can manage it about 1 in 20 or something now. Can get about 6k coming off the previous corner fairly easily, then it's just pot luck.

Exactly the same problem for me. Just can't figure out how you would get anywhere near that score.
