I managed to sort of figure it out and got near 2700 on the last drift, I was dead proud of finally beating E5 given the sheer number of attempts I'd done... and now I see he's scoring well over 4000 on the last corner!

Afraid so.


Yeah, I managed 2400 once, and then 2600, but it was just dumb luck. I can do the rest of the course ok, but just can't do the final corner consistently at all.

Same story. It's still sitting under the tv like a brick. I never got around to trying the new drift mechanics. Does it change how you approach the event or is it the same kinda thing with no drifting into the wall ?

Fixes an occasional game-side crash

New drifting is about carrying speed, seems like it's more about the distance you drift not the time spent drifting.

The old scores are way out of date now, unless they were glitched, like that annoying Dezir one I spent ages on and got stuck at silver, first go with this patch got 1000 over gold.

The difference is more noticeable on the longer drifting events where it's all about the momentum carried throughout, you can easily go back through the tour and add another 1000+ to those. I haven't changed my method, it's just finding the spot to maintain a drift as long as possible.


Ah I wondered what that was about. I've had it randomly crash on me a few times in the past when scrolling through the challenges, so maybe it was to fix that.

I thought it was tonight the current challenge finished, must have got my days mixed up. Though looking at the results I doubt it would have made much difference.

Cheers guys. Believe me I have no idea how I got over 4000 on the last corner. As fluffed said I think the new drift scoring is a lot more based on speed through the corner.

Sent challenge, is a fast lap in Canada, with the Vuhl 05, everyone should have, I don't think is level related, may need to download it from the store if you haven't already but it's definitely free. Current WR on it is 0.53 something, am expecting that to go!

That's the first time I've driven the Vuhl, can't say I particularly enjoyed it. Another car that the back end constantly wants to overtake the front. Good challenge though.

Thank goodness for having built up a good buffer of points in previous challenges. I effing hate this track and I effing hate this glorified skid pan on wheels.
