OMTT's challenge results - also 12th - gillyallan - 1:40.507
Very sneaky of E5 in the last couple of hours of the challenge. Naturally I'm back on it on tour mode to try and reclaim the top spot. |

I could maybe get close to them if I had about a month to do it in. Well done. OMTT, thanks for making my weekend an extremely frustrating one. After 5 months of playing driveclub, I was somewhat surprised at my lack of ability to simply TURN A ******* CORNER. That is one annoying event. I am not looking forward to having to do it all again in the tour. |

I tried to play my challenge earlier this evening but it said I had no solo challenges, even though I knew there were still a couple of hours left. Ended up playing a lot of tour events listening to Spotify & the SFX. Time seemed to fly in when listening to a couple of albums & I got all stars in the Apex tour. Music helps with my concentration

Yeah you failed me Lisa, I was relying on you to keep E5 off the top spot. I wasn't expecting such a poor showing from you.

Congrats Lisa on an excellent championship. You only dropped 12 points over the 14 events, very impressive.

Couldn't help myself:
Well folks, it's all over. Lisa_B_87, the favourite at the start of the season, was pretty much dominant throughout, dropping only 12 points over the course of the season. An excellent display of quality driving. E5onAmp had a late push towards the end of the season, finishing his season with a sterling display in the wet at Tamil Nadu and clawing his way back up the table to share second place with Claymore-74. Despite victory in Fraser Valley, Claymore just couldn't claim second place outright. Ianm34 showed great skill, but his no-show at the start of the season, and his performance in the drift events let him down. Maybe the new drifting rules will help him for next season. Speedy1013 & Samecat both had consistent results, with Samecat particularly showing improvement in the back half of the season. Speedy's placing could have been improved if he'd remembered to board the ferry to Norway. And what of Yuffie? Much was made of the rivalry between him and Claymore at the start of the season, but he finished down in 7th. Well, this is a sad story - Yuffie should have been vying for 2nd place with Claymore and E5. He showed impressive form on the drift events, but catastrophic engine failure in Norway cut his season short. Hopefully he'll bounce back next season with a shiny new model. Rounding out the top ten were Gillyallen, TheGingerWarrior, and TommyNooka79. All three are capable of causing upsets next season. Hope you enjoyed the season folks (I know I did), and are looking forward to the next one. And just to whet your appetite, yes Lisa was dominant, her skill is not in question, but she didn't win any of the last 3 events. Was this just complacency due to her unassailable lead, or is this a sign of things to come? I can't wait to find out! And finally, thanks to Lisa for posting all the results, and Yuffie for keeping track of the championship. Each driver thanks you. ![]() ![]()

Cheers guys I enjoyed (most) of that and well done Lisa, hopefully you'll get 'promoted' and give us all a chance next time.
![]() Who was the player in 7th in the last challenge? Didn't recognise the name from previous challenges. |

That's OMTT - him and Lisa must have shared real names.
I got a bit puzzled by the PS4 and the real name thing because it uses your real name a lot on your home console and I thought everyone was seeing what I was seeing! Not that it's a big deal but I do like hiding behind my anonymity sometimes!

Well done Lisa, you made it look easy. It's been a great championship which has eaten up countless hours as will the next round no doubt. I really need to spending time on the backlog of games I've got.
Great review of the championship claymore, made me chuckle. Looking forward to going toe to toe with you next time. Are the challenges being set to 5 days from now on? |

Congrats Lisa, different league to most of us muggles ![]() And cheers to Yuffie for keeping up with the scoring. Enjoyed this competition, I may never be up there with Lisa's and Ian's of this world, but can definitely improve thanks to chasing their ghosts. Quote:

Well done Lisa! You were the Lionel Messi of this Championship.
Really tough competition on here from the other drivers too. Felt like I was pushing myself to my limit just to make 5th (and even then Yuffie would be above me had he not crashed). I can only hope that every event in the next one is a drifting challenge. Also nice full-time analysis Claymore

This was the order we used for last season:
(I missed out those that didn't set a challenge). Gillyallen: ESonAMP: Subcutaneousphat: Lisa_B: StormBringeR: Little_Ifrit: Iann34: Claymore74: darfi02 slw8227 TommyNooka79 Tombigbee fluffed OMTT I'm happy to go with 5 days this time. I'm hoping it will give me time to play some other games, though I suspect it means I'll just spend even more time on the challenges! I'm going to miss at least one if not two events due to the Easter hols, is anyone else going away? If there are a lot of us it may be sensible to break for the hols, if it's just me no worries. Also Yuffie, I'm happy to do the scores this season if you want to take a break given you won't be racing? ( assuming you've not got your ps4 fixed/replaced yet) Just thought I'd offer, I'm quite happy for you to keep doing it. |

I don't mind Claymore. I can keep doing it. It keeps me involved. Usually when someone retires they go onto some sort of commenting panel so it fits
