No prob, just didn't want you to feel obliged.

And you're not retired, just 'between vehicles.'
Oh I'm retired, but I have to make the obligatory comeback at some point Maybe when I've blown my life savings on drugs and hookers and am in need of some more cash.

Can't get the ps store to load properly here so can't check whether it's genuine or a 'fool' though.
It's on the store mate, don't think it's a fool's windup

https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-...XVEHICLEXX0759

My psn web store has been playing up so cant sign in through firefox or chrome but the vehicle is on the store

Correct - it's pedal-powered.

I'm happy to go with 5 days this time. I'm hoping it will give me time to play some other games, though I suspect it means I'll just spend even more time on the challenges!

I'm going to miss at least one if not two events due to the Easter hols, is anyone else going away? If there are a lot of us it may be sensible to break for the hols, if it's just me no worries.

Also Yuffie, I'm happy to do the scores this season if you want to take a break given you won't be racing? ( assuming you've not got your ps4 fixed/replaced yet) Just thought I'd offer, I'm quite happy for you to keep doing it.
I'm away for the Easter weekend also, though I suspect I may be taking the PS4 with me so I can continue dying lots in Bloodborne...

I support the motion to extend challenges to five days... I missed a fair few this time round for various reasons and the extra couple of days will make that less of a likelihood.

Once downloaded if you look in your garage there's a new 'bonus' class after 'hyper' that the buggy appears in. I'm sure this was mooted ages ago anyway or at least was constantly being requested. Just about to do some challenges in it.

Are the buggies only available for use today or can we carry on using them afterwards?

No it's a permanent thing, why release something so cool for one day only lol, that would just piss people off

Permanent surely if we're allowed to create challenges with it? The lowest 12hr challenge would carry over to tomorrow.

I've thrown out a couple of solo & club buggy challenges as there's hardly any showing for the buggy at present.

The buggy will be required in some April DLC events, so it's definitely here to stay.

What's going on with the servers? I played for 3 hours last night and they were down the full time playing & they're still unavailable now

Edit: put console in rest mode but closed the game first rather than use the suspend/resume & they're working. They must time out after a certain time of being inactive

Let it be known that I have video and visual proof of a 41.104 on the Wombat Maplewood 2 challenge, but the damn thing won't save it.

Getting the trophy for winning a 12 car race without hitting anyone is surprisingly difficult...

I remember that one. It was surprisingly difficult. I think I did it in the hot hatch division and made sure it was on a nice wide track.

Just choose an event that you're familiar with to tap into the rhythm of where the safest overtaking points are, the really short Maplewood or Tamil Nadu 2 are ideal with the wide areas of track they have. Doing it in a hot hatch is better as well, as everybody is slow and it's easier to pick your lines. You can actually get away with minor scrapes, it's only when it comes up with 'vehicle impact' that you have to restart.

You'll probably find once you've finally got it out the way, that the bonus fame for having a 'clean lap' or 'clean event' start coming thick and fast without the pressure of a trophy attached to it any more!

No challenge.

We never really set a start date but now is as good a time as any. It's gillyallen to start us off isn't it ?

Everyone seemed fine with a 5 day challenge, ya ?

If you want just skip me for now. I've not been on it in a while and I'll be out all day tomorrow so won't get a chance.

Maybe best to wait until after Easter? DC has ground to a crawl for me today. Times extremely slow to update, challenges section constantly throwing up 'content unavailable try again later' messages.

Edit: The servers are completely dead now. Must be due to that double fame weekend thing as well, jeez if their poky servers can't even handle that then I dread to think what will happen if/when they eventually release the plus version!

It was actually ok for me today whenever I tried it. Still not sure how much this new suspend/resume feature affects things.
