No need to be so defensive. Anyone would think you felt threatened by Driveclub's potential.”
That's even worse! FM5 is a sim.
Haha not defensive, I just thought the advert was a bit desperate. I don't work for Turn 10 so here's no need for me to feel threatened but I would think Playground Games do..... about as much as Gordon Ramsey would if "Bob the hotdog man" pitched his stall outside the restaurant.

That was my point, that they are different games. The only one's trolling are Sony with that advert. DC "easily blows FM5 out of the water".. what with? 30fps arcade racing? FM5 has over 250 more cars (count them

) which aren't limited to EU manufacturers, features laser scanned real life tracks, comprehensive upgrades and tuning for every car with a powerful custom livery editor. The physics (tyre, aero and suspension model) are built on 10 years worth of development in conjunction with Calspan and McLaren. Locked 60 FPS gameplay, up to 16 racers on track DriveClub simply doesn't have the credentials to beat Forza.
From all of the footage I've seen some of it looks good, other parts not so much. Cars are not as detailed as FM5 (particularly the interiors) but are still high detail. I'm personally yet to see anything that rivals the audio/visual treat of driving an LFA at Nordschleife in FM5.
FH2 is clearly the game that shows what the consoles can do? huge open world sandbox combined with the depth of a 'top of the line' sim, tonnes of cars, dynamic weather system, day/night cycle, varied track surface, 1080p with 4x MSAA, locked 30fps without a single torn or dropped frame with the most amazing motion blur techniques seen in any racer. Not bad.
