Yeah, the other day I thought bikes were fun but didn't think it would keep me with the game once NFS came out today but with all the new things added & on the way, I'm loving this game again.

Finally got 1035/1035 stars with the cars

I'm really struggling with the bikes though. I can't win a race, never mind do a clean lap in a ridiculously fast time at the same time One bump & you're at the back of the pack
Well done on getting all the car stars. Remember you've got the elite levels to do as well!

The base game is only 9.99 in game too for anyone interested
Yeah, for under £28 you can get the base game, plus the first season pass content, plus Driveclub Bikes. Overall, that's a whopping amount of content for the money.

Good work on the car stars! It's a steep adjustment switching over to the bikes. You have to unlearn everything every time you switch between the two. There's a sweet spot for cornering with the bikes, you have to brake and turn in a lot earlier. It's a pain in the arse to master, because it'll either do it and it'll look good, or you push too much and end up coming to a near stop and it won't turn at all.

I've just had a look in the PS Store as I've just got a PS4, and searched for Driveclub

The Driveclub main game says "unavailable as you have already purchased PlaystationPlus" ??

There is a Driveclub bikes standalone game for £15.99, classed as a bundle. Is that the full car game with bikes ?

No, that will be the standalone 'Driveclub Bikes' game. (no cars, smaller tour than the main game)

You'll be looking for the PSPlus full game upgrade edition (or something like that), you can either get it for 9.99, or 'with Season Pass' bundle for 15.99. If you in any way like what you've tried on the PS+ edition, the extra £6 is well worth it for the amount of content you'll get in the season pass (16 additional dlc packs, each with 45 stars to gain).

Once you have that, you can also get the Driveclub Bikes add-on for £11.99. (This adds all the content from the standalone DC:Bikes)

Thanks, although it appears to be £11.99 today for the "DRIVECLUB Full Game for PlaystatonPlus" PS+ exclusive, not £9.99

The Full Game for PlaystationPlus & Season Pass is £15.99

I just checked and you're looking at the right ones, the price of the base game must have changed recently.

It's a no brainer to take the full one with dlc at 15.99 for me.

I've just bought bikes. Spent most of my trial tour on that in last place last cornet got up to about 4th. Quite hard.

This is going to sound really silly, but how do bikes handle DC ? When ever I've tried bike games in the past, you had to keep the bike steady or it would tip over. I don't want to buy the dlc if I'm going to have to keep the bike from toppling over when trying to race

It doesn't appear to topple over. Possibly un realistic ? But don't think I could handle it toppling over. Also the Ai seem to bash you as they do in cars if you steal the line.

Sith Lord if u want to try the bikes before u buy. If I'm on I can shareplay the first race if u want. They don't fall over but are hard for me.

I wasn't at the races tonight. Too tired & couldn't concentrate. Kept spinning out or flipping! Lucky I didn't have my earphones plugged in it you'd have heard expletives that you didn't think we're possible! lol

Some good battles tonight as well. I kept getting into tangles with Claymore but it felt like his car was heavier than mine & he'd muscle me out the way

Yeah, we were but it just felt like I just couldn't get an advantage and I'd end up on the grass 😢

The Olivers Landing race was hilarious - each lap I was ahead of you coming out the top corner, but you always managed to keep more speed out of it and caught me up by the bottom corner, and then we had a fight round the next few corners to see who could get to the straight first.

I think on the last lap you spun a bit and I just 'helped' you on your way into the barrier.

Did you guys sort that slight ringing noise when in party chat ? Was it any better last night ?

You thought it might be the headphones you were using.

Tag wasn't chatting last night, at first it was just myself and Allan and it was fine until Ian plugged his headphones in properly (apparently he'd been talking to himself for a while), then the ringing started, so I'm pretty sure that's what's causing it.

It's most noticeable when you're sitting in the lobby waiting, it's not too bad when you're actually driving.

Any tips on doing stoppies? I can master the wheelie but I go arse over elbow when trying the stoppie 🏍🤕

I found my earphones in my jacket pocket. I forgot I was listening to Spotify when I took him out a walk yesterday

Let go before the bike topples over. I don't really know how I do it, it's just practice and getting a sense for when it's about to go and letting go before that point.

Too tired to join in all the fun last night.
