Have they said much about tweaking the ai at all? They really shouldn't be ramming you so harshly when following a train through a corner, especially giving you the collision penalty and not themselves.

I think they need to sort out the online before messing with the AI.

Mind you, it wouldn't be the same people anyway, so i guess they should sort both out.

No word yet. I imagine they want to get the online working flawlessly for those who have already bought the game before they flood the servers with even more players.

Let's just say you won't miss me on track... ignore all the damage, I cannot control that Venom.
That club level 15 Zonda, would be a useful addition for these hyper events.

Or they want to get as much money from folks as they can before those who download the glorified demo known as the PS+ version realise it's not worth upgrading

That's true the longer they leave the demo the quicker folk will lose interest! ... If I'd gotten the ps+ version on launchday id probably have upgraded!

![]() I do wonder though whether they'll now wait until the weather patch is ready to accompany the PS+ version. It'll give it a little extra wow factor to offset some of the negative publicity a little. I do think it's a real shame they've had all these problems with online. The game, when it's working fully, is hella addictive. I'm not regretting my pre-order a bit and there's still loads more to come. |

The only thing with waiting till weather patch is that there'll be folk who bought it but stopped playing. When the patch comes out everyone will come back to see it and server overload again.
Its not nice but I'd release the ps+ version a week or so apart by territory. There are a couple of races in the amateur that I can't seem to win and often land last. |

Tried another online game there. Total shocker. Was like a stock car race. In fact they'd take more care of their cars. Also ran across a speed face off where by we had to beat 9762 mph. Erm....ok.

Online races can be crazy. I think some people just do them to cause carnage.

I'm wondering what the solution could be to fix online racing. Its Not so easy but a harder punishment is needed for extreme ramming.

The Zonda is a fantastic car. I blitzed through some of the hyper races with it.

My tip would be take the first fast right hander fast sliding side ways using the handbrake and bounce off the tyre wall, no penalty as long as sideways.. Couldn't see a way of cutting time anywhere else on the track. |
