considering buying this....does the game support split screen?
if not...anyone know if any driving games exist on PS4 that support that? (me and the mrs used to love playing Blur on the X360) Just single player campaign and online multiplayer. Need for Speed Rivals is the only other racing game on the ps4 for now. |

No split screen.
Pretty much all of the best Multi-Player experiences i've had during my time playing games have come from playing locally with friends. I've had fun playing online over the years but nothing quite beats the fun i've had when playing locally. |

I think there is only me left playing in digispy 2 team.
![]() I can't believe all the bugs in this were missed during testing. I finished a single player race in first place today in a time of 6:46, second place had a time of 6:45?! |

I'll be sacking this game for a while, partly because GTA 5 soon to be released. (Evo Studios watch R* and how they do it!!)
Plus I still have issues playing online with Driveclub, I have lost almost all faith in this game. |

LOL. What? GTA V had massive online issues at launch.
I got my GTA a few days before release. I connected online with no issues, as you'd expect. Then come RD I had a few problems connecting, nothing to extent of Driveclub. Plus.. GTA sold a helluva lot more than Driveclub so the Servers were under greater stress yet they resolved the issue quicker. So yeah they could learn a thing or two from R*. |

I just wish they'd release some new info on when the challenges will appear. I hope it doesn't end up like the GTA V heists! |

That they did. But to the extent of Evolution Studios?? No way jose.

GTA still has problems online. It's slow as hell. Pressing down to see the bigger map during a race makes it stutter. Things don't render properly until your onto them. It crashed on me the other day 3 times in a 24 hour period. Then you had people hacking into the game giving people millions of money making a mockery of people who actually paid real money to get in game money. The list is endless, it's a brilliant game but plagued with problems. On another note, why do they render pointless stuff like when loading online up, it sometimes loads you up showering, that's just pointless waste of coding time. |

Constantly having to redo times, because the leaderboard refuses to be stable and decides yes of course you did the lap in 93 minutes (and more often than not in the wrong car) even though we've still logged your real time and ghost when you start the event, is getting very tedious. I've been trying my best to give them the benefit of the doubt, but you do have question exactly what the hell they've been doing all this time when there seems to be minimal improvement weeks and weeks later...

It's pretty embarrassing. This was a launch game, almost one year later, the release is a broken mess. I know some want to give them the benefit of doubt but it's beyond ridiculous. This game wasn't any where near finished properly.

Had a couple hot hatch multiplayer games there. Quite good. I hope once they iron out the bugs they can reduce the connecting in lobby though as that's annoying.

I've just played for an hour and a half and not encountered any issues today. Got Digital Spy 1 up to level 35 now. We've got a whopping 4 million points to earn to get to level 36 now, but doing so should put us in to the top 350 teams (maybe closer to the top 300). Come on team, get earning some points!!

Hi everyone,
The team at Evolution continues to work diligently to resolve all of the server issues. We know you have all been extremely patient and understandably frustrated during DRIVECLUBs launch, and to show our appreciation for the support during this challenging time, we will be offering the premium DLC packs for November (25th November-SCEA/26th November-SCEE/27th November-SCEJ) free to those who purchased the full game. These premium DLC packs The Ignition Expansion Pack and Photo-Finish Tour Pack along with two livery packs will give you a total of five new cars, 22 new tour events, 10 new trophies and 10 new livery items to play with online and offline. The Season Pass will be extended to include four extra packs in July 2015 to ensure players who purchased the pass get everything that was promised. So on top of the free DLC in November, the Season Pass will still include 38 cars, 176 tour events and 80 unique liveries. On Tuesday we will also be releasing our next game update which includes our first round of player requested feature updates. In addition to Photo Mode, which will allow you to share your most thrilling moments with your friends, we will be adding: Improved multiplayer collision physics to reduce frustrating spin-outs Adjustments to soften the corner cutting penalty system Options in the club menu to view everything your club has unlocked A fix to allow all club owners to update their club badges This update also includes the first new tracks, which we announced back in September as part of our plans to keep supporting and expanding the game as you play. These include the following free new tracks for online and offline play (also playable in reverse): India Yedepalli Scotland Wester Ross Chile Los Pelambres Although currently we do not have an update regarding the timing for the launch of the PS Plus Edition, we are continually working on improving the server capacity to enable us to launch the PS Plus Edition as quickly as possible. Once again, thank you for your support. We are truly sorry that the road to delivering the full DRIVECLUB racing experience on PS4 has been such a rocky one. |
