I dropped a sec off my time before reading above.
Is anyone managing to take that back chicane without lifting off ? So easy to spin out so I normally lift a touch. |

In an hour I was only ahead of Yuffie once after 2 sectors, and then stuffed one of the easy corners in the last sector. I was, how can I put this, somewhat annoyed...

I'm now right on claymores tail. 0.105 in it, but need to go out now. I really enjoy these challenges.

I found by cutting into the first right hand part of the back chicane i could then just clip part of the left part without getting a corner penalty and the car not going "light" as bad which meant little correction required and not hitting the ramp of the kerb on the right hand side. Took some practice but managed to get it right around 1 in 3 laps.
The reward for my best ever fluke first sector on my best lap, (so many things have to go right in that first sector!), was to end up braking too much into that next right hander and then throw away 6 tenths on my best middle sector, so annoyed when I did that as I would've beaten that number 1 ghost. I only set my best middle sector times on laps I've already stuffed up anyway. It's a very technical track overall, a lot of fine margins that can make so much difference to the speed you carry round each sector. |

Managed to shave a bit off my time. Don't worry Yuffie, I'm still behind you.
I reckon I've got more in it, but I just can't string it together into one lap. All good fun though. |

Enough expletives to make a drunken sailor blush! If only I could nail the lap in all 3 sectors. Destroyed my first sector best, had a great middle sector, but then lost all the time at the end. It did get me one place further up the leaderboard, so not that heartbreaking I guess.

Can't believe this game is still only 29 quid odd on Amazon. I think they might be matching shopto. Well worth that price.
That said glad I have it digitally. |

Ghosts weren't working right there. Only one ghost on track. Think it was for first place. Mine and next on list weren't appearing and it was puting me off

I didn't get on this all day but I'm glad I'm still where I left myself.
I don't really think it's a complicated track, it's the car that's the problem. I find it really inconsistent when cornering. Sometimes I can go flat out round a. Bend (like the last sector ones) and then others the car goes nuts. I know it has a lot to do with the speed I come into corners at, which is going to be different every time, but the car is the b1tch for me. Claymore, I was chasing your ghost for ages yesterday and I know exactly where you're losing time. You could whop my ass if you got two particular parts done right.
